Pours a black color with a small head. Has some chocolate and spicy peppers in the aroma and taste. Did not overdo the chili peppers like I have tasted before. Good beer.

Draft at Farmer’s Cabinet. Pours a pitch black with a dark brown head. You can smell some roastiness intermixing with definite pepper flavor. The heat of this really builds as you drink it. You definitely feel the heat, which is really amazing. Not for everyone, but really impressive.

sonnycheeba (3295) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - APR 27, 2012
Pours deep, dark brown with thick creamy tan head; decent retention and some lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, black pepper, earthy hops, figs, and light smoke. Flavor is malt dominate with faint supporting hops and dark fruit esters; dry finish with a lingering pepper aftertaste. Medium body and carbonation with low warmth.

   AROMA 6/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 8/10   PALATE 4/5   OVERALL 18/20
NikkTwist (1517) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 26, 2012
Draft at Farmers Cabinet. Black pour with minimal head. First thought was black pepper but developed quickly to a deeper chipolte with a dark fruit background. Crisp and well blended. The heat builds as you drink it. Smoky and bitter. Not for the novice. Quite interesting actually. Something to sip and contemplate.
