Keg @ Craft Beer Co Islington 2013/5/7 Nice enough but something not quite right. Overly tart. Full of flavour. Nice yeast presence. Sorachi? Anyway something is off and I’m not a brewer so can’t pinpoint. Many would enjoy as I do.

Tap at CBC Clerko, thanks to the Stamford Bridge ball boy for the pour, 13/04/13. Hazed golden amber with a thin off white head. Nose is pale malts, pine, light citrus, lemon tarte, bitter grapefruit notes, touch of piss. Taste comprises light sugars, citrus, grapefruit notes, good splash o’hops. Medium bodied with fine carbonation, dry finish with some hop bitterness. Did Tom nick a keg from Restaurant Radio or something? Ok stuff.

Keg at CBC Clerkenwell, London during the Birthday Celebration of Jack & Leighton. Pours lightly hazy gold with a tight, creamy head. Dried orange and cat litter in the nose. Light to medium sweet falvor with moderate alcohol, light straw, bitter pine. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly sticky to finish with bits of ripe citrus, further pine. OK.

Keg @ CBC Clerkenwell. The pour’s hazy deep orange with a small head. Pretty soft floral nose. Light grassy meadow, herbal hops. A bit of jammy marmalade. Mild citrusy west coast hop action. The taste is more of the same. some orange peel with a herbal hop finish. A bit of tropical cantaloupe. Slightly chalky body. Overall, pretty solid.

Keg at CBC, Clerkenwell thanks to Jack. It pours hazy golden yellow with a medium white head. The nose is dough, soft fruit, nectarine, peach, sherbet and candy. The taste is straw, hay, nice bitterness, dough, icing sugar, candy and soft fruit with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Too sweet. Doesn’t work for me.

On tap at CBC Clerkenwell. It pours hazy orange with a medium white head. The aroma is peach, lemon, citrus, light spices and light caramel. The flavour is bitter and hoppy, with some sweetness and flavours to peach, caramel and citrus. Bitter grape fruity finish. Solid but not outstanding.

Hazy gold color body with a nice foamy white head. Fruity aroma, jolly rancher candy, very sweet, some lemon notes hiding, bit of oxidation which gets more pronounced as beer sit a bit. Taste bitter, grassy, light caramel, lemon, fruity, refreshing. Long dry finish and a light-medium body hid the alcohol nicely. I could drink several of these in a row (although the carbonation is a bit high, which would get annoying.)

Keg at Craft Beer Co, Islington, London. A hazy golden coloured pour with a healthy off white head on top. Hoppy, fruity, malty aroma. Tastes hoppy, fruity, dry, bitter and slightly sweet too.
