Taste is better and deeper: Sweet malty, light roast, milky coffee, smooth bitterness, fruity notes. Sweetish finish, body feels light.

(Beware! Total gusher. I didn’t even get the cap entirely off before beer was pouring out. Open over or in the sink) 66 cl bottle @ home. Pours black with some sediment and an enormous mocha head that slowly fades leaving a little lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, vanilla. Taste is roasted malt, bitter coffee, and a little ash.

Pours pitch black color with a huge growing foamy head. Almost as active as some De Molen brews. Aroma of roasted malts, dark chocolate, some fruits, mild hops and dark berries. A bit of vegetables also. Flavor of toasted malts, dry dark chocolate, fruit notes, caramel and toffee, ashy wood, earth and some sourish berry notes. Very high carbonation, a bit thin palate, long fruity and malty dry finish.

Sampled at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012. Pours a pitch black beer with a beige head. The aroma is malt, roasted and slate. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is sweetness. Overall an average beer.

Black color with very large head. Some aroma of roasted malt and yeast, light cardboard. Dry mouthfeel, with decent flavor of roasted malts and coffee, but also yeast and dust. More Stout than Porter

Large light brown and big bubbly head that mostly lasted. Fair display of lacework. Pitch black color. Aroma of sweet chocolate, light coffee, roasted malt, hint of liquorish. Light to medium bodied with an average carbonation. Light to moderated sweet flavor with some counter bitterness. Lingering roasted and light sweet malty and chocolate like finish. Very drinkable.

Clear dark black brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, chocolate, coffee. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, oat, thin. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
