3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottled 650ml (Bierkompass, no BB)
A bottle was a gusher, but I saved the most. Dark ruby color, huge brown head, lace. Coffee, toasted notes, some wood ro cellar, perhaps a bit milky aroma. Medium-bodied, but thinnish palate. Coffee beans, stale coffee, dark chocolate. Dry and short finish. Although not tart, perhaps there has been a minor infection as bottle is gushing slowly like Alvinne bottles.

Pours dark dark brown with a finger of head. Nice malty and caramel aroma, which carries over to the flavor...and hen the spices hit.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle courtesy of nobleman Papsø. Slow gusher, produces a huge off white head when poured. Roasted, chocolate, cocoa, charcoal, grain. Light yeast in the nose. Taste is light/medium sweet and medium bitter. Medium body, oily texture, lively carbonation. Too high carbonation, but still a damn fine porter. Would drink again very much, very solid for the abv.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
UPDATED: FEB 23, 2014 12.07.2013, 0,66l bottle @ home:
This bottle must be the worst slooooowgusher I’ve ever had. The glass was filled with a fizzy head ONLY, almost instantly. The content of the bottle then slowly just kept growing and growing, even when the bottle was almost empty, it kept growing back out of the bottle. Aroma kind of stings in the nose from the masses of co2, dark malts, unripe banana, grass, coffee, cocoa. Taste is very fizzy and watery, dark malts, ashtray, burnt caramel, chocolate, burnt coffee. Medium bitterness, thin and harsh mouthfeel, masses of carbonation. Horrible!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from the Khiosk, Copenhagen. Poured a crude oil colour with a glass hugging tan head. The aroma is roasted malt and coffee leading to a big bitter liqourice flavour, with coffee and chocolate. The palate is somewhat smooth and the liqourice does not dominate as is often the case with many other similar beers.
