From the bottle, from the garage because right now itís perfect temp :) - This oneís a gusher! Hazy golden with plenty of well-sustained white foam. It smells of apricot, wet blankets, lemon. Itís super delicious. Just a bit of bright acidity up front, quickly drying to biscuity flavors and funky sourness characteristic of Brett. I donít know what to say about the palate, however, it seems a bit thin. The 7% abv adds a touch of warmth. Itís really nice.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours hazy pale gold with two fingers of fluffy loose white head, excellent retention and moderate lacing. (4/5) Nose is moderate to strong Brett funk, citrus, mild honey. (9/10) Taste is mild sweet, moderate to strong bitter, mild peppery spice. (9/10) Medium body, soft carbonation, dry peppery bitter finish. (4/5)
Oh my goodness, this is my kind of beast - itís even named after me! Lovely funky barnyard notes that are pure Belgian all the way. Reminds me of a De Ranke XX or a Goose Island Matilda. Heckuva nice beer. (18/20)

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy yellow golden, big ice cream swirl head with a neat half finger lacing all playing catchup all the way down. Creamy chalky sherbert Brett party on the nose. Neat puff of lemon and chalk on initial taste, tangy middle and a scratch of saison graininess towards the finish. Smooth rolling carbonation. Finishes like a Bretted latte, frothy and evened out bitterness. Linger is easy going lemon cream. Keg, Northern Monk Refectory.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 2015 on the label. Pours slightly hazy bright golden color with a 2-3 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big lemon zest, orange peel, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, pear, apple, pepper, cracker, bread, light honey, hay, straw, grass, musty funk, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/funky/spicy yeast and light-moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon zest, orange peel, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, pear, apple, pepper, cracker, bread, light honey, hay, straw, grass, musty funk, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Good amount of earthy yeast spiciness and light tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon/orange zest, grapefruit, pineapple, peach, pear, apple, pepper, bread, light honey, hay, straw, grass, musty funk, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity and balance of fruity/funky/spicy yeast and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with a crisp malt/yeast flavor balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly acidic/creamy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent Brett saison style. All around great complexity and balance of fruity/funky/spicy yeast and light-moderate pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle- pours hazy grapefruit juice, bright white frothy head that's thick with lacing on the glass. Nose is Brett, wet horse blanket, bright citrus hops and some fresh tones of spearmint. Heavier bodied, Brett funky flavors, some sourness, fresh and clean. A great funky saison that's got some heft. Nice beer
