Yellow amber, thick bubbly head fades with some lacing. Big Brett, toasty malts, saison herbal funk on the nose. Dry, zesty lemon palate, bready malt, hint of caramel, slightly tart, brett sourness on a peppery finish. Nice!

50 cl bottle, BBE 2015
Aroma is fresh with earthy notes and gooseberry bush – feels a bit soapy. The JP brett can be easily observed. Flavour has lots of hops with gooseberry bush, earthy notes, some bubblegum, wheat and salt typical to JP ales. Dryish finish. Nice and refreshing!

Bottle…Cloudy yellow ale with a small, creamy, white head. Great retention. The nose is herbal and spicy with a nice, gentle note of vanilla. Medium-bodied with soft carbonation. The flavor is spicy, sweet and herbal up front with loads of bitterness coming through on the backside. Finishes crisp, then bittersweet with lingering, lengthy bitterness. Bottle courtesy of Plovmand!

Pouring at Lord Hobo after the Night of the Barrels on the Friday night of EBF 2012. Pours an amber gold with a thin to medium sized white head. Big brett, sweet toast, spicy yeast and a bit of sweetness with more brett. Soft wheat, spicy yeast, slightly floral with a faint medicinal touch.

On tap at Camden Brewdog. Hazy gold beer, little white head. Softish palate with carbonated sting in the tail. Creamy malt with tripel like sweetness and spice. Nice hops - clementines with a trace of peach. Silky finish with more creamy malt. Nice.

Bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a hazy golden orange color with a medium sized white head. The aroma is pale malt, herbal, touches of pepper, funk, and grassy. This also comes off as being a bit dusty. The flavor is bready malt, grass, mild fruits, light funk with some pepper toward the back. This changes a bit and becomes more dry and bitter as it warms. This just didn’t work for me like some of their other beers.

Keg at Brewdog Camden. Hazy pale blond with white bubbly head. Aroma is bubblegum, sour brett yeast, lots of fruit, peach, banana, raspberry. Very nice. Taste equally good. Great cross between a saison and an Orval. Can’t get much better than that for me. Very spritzy and drinkable. Lots of fruit, bit of citrus and a touch of wheat. Nice crisp finish with a touch of bitterness. Really really nice.

Sample at Ale Wine & Spirits in Powell on 01/20/2012. The beer is a cloudy orange-gold color with a medium frothy white head that burns away slowly. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of peppery yeast, bready malt and hay. Medium body with a moderately funky character and notes of grain, yeast, malt and pepper. The finish is peppery yeast at first but resolves to a lingering sweet malt aftertaste. Above average overall.
