A bit hazy dark yellow with a small white head. Aroma and taste of light brett, grape, oak, wheat and spices. Not a spectacular beer but a descent one.

Mmmmmm.......there is rust around the edge of the bottle lip were the cap was sitting. A murky tan body has a one inch crown floating on top. Smells like a Unibroue but slightly different. Lemon, good mild funk, spice, and even more in the aroma. Pour number two...... so much sludge......so very murky. Taste is strong and powerful, huge wheat, big yeast, spice builds the more I drink. A hidden harshness really builds. Beer is doing good things for me.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
650ml brown bottle. Bright yellow pour, very hazy, some dark yeast specks. Long lasting white head, good lace. Nose has big funk, also citrusy and some fruity pineapple. Taste has some spicy yeast, brett, grass, bread, lemon/citrus and background pineapple/tropical fruits. Dryish, funky and quite yeasty finish with some sharp grassy hops and a pleasant lingering bitterness. Medium body, lively carbonation. A well done funky saison.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber. Gusher! Not terrible, but I definitely lost an ounce or two. Oddly not a hugely heady pour after that though. Hazy gold with a 3 finger, fluffy white head. Aroma of bretty funk, stone fruit, pepper, sweet fruity and floral notes, sweet and toasty cereal, we limestone and juicy citrus hops. Flavor is bretty funk up front, followed by sweet toast and cereal, stone fruit, berry fruitiness, pepper, light doughy yeast, wet limestone, nice, sweet and juicy citrus hops and a lingering funkiness along with nutty and cereal notes to the finish. Medium body with a juicy to chewy entry, moderate strength, hugely blanketing and fairly sharp carbonation, which all fits the flavor profile well. Really good overall, nice hop profile, nice balance, the yeast component works well. Unusually well put together for a 7% ABV Saison.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
The brett funk hit me first of all, but it wasn’t over powering, and complemented the other flavors well. After brett, I tasted tart cherries, white pepper, banana, and lots of yeast. A very tight and lively finish. Very drinkable and well carbonated. Medium body. Much better than I expected and very enjoyable. I know the price is expensive, but I would definitely get it again.

650ml bottle pours a hazy blonde color with a 2 finger white head that leaves some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is light fruits with yeast and grains. Taste is yeasty with some light fruit and malty sweetness and a spicy hop bitterness. Medium bodied with abundant carbonation providing a nice sensation on the palate. Definitely recommended.
