Very nice aroma. Grapefruit like aroma. Bone dry finish. Medium bitterness, lightly sour from the brett. Refreshing.

Bottle (gusher). Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly hoppy (flowers), with notes of plastic/vinyl, vegetables, hair spray, pineapple, gasoline. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter, unclean. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation, lightly to moderately alcoholic. Well, there’s good Brett and bad Brett, and unfortunately this falls in the latter category. Dirty smelling and tasting, without much at all to entice...very industrial phenolics, chemical-like. Surprising considering that the regular Beaster Bunny is an ok beer, but it illustrates how important yeast is. Couldn’t choke down more than a few sips before dumping it down the drain.

750ml bottle, hazy blonde hue, with a thick fluffy white head, with a nice fruity, bretty, funky wild yeast nose, with a faint barnyard, doughy, wheaty, lemon, grapefruit peel, light floral herbal, tropical fruit, grassy hop note, and with a faint musty, white wine tannin, bread dough, faint citrus sour accent in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with good funky, bretty wild yeast, leathery, faint citrus, flowery fruity, grassy, citrus hop, dusty, crackery, bread dough character, leading towards a yeasty, bretty funkiness, lingering citrus hop dry finish.

Bottle at home. Pour is hazy golden with a small white head and great lacing. Bretty, lemony, some pineapple, biscuit, mango, some herbs, and papaya in the aroma. Taste is pineapple, straw, some biscuit, lemon, grass, mango, white pepper, and flowers with a dry spicy finish. Medium body with high carbonation. Nice saison.

Bottle at home. Pours dirty gold with soapy white head. Nose is grainy citrus. Tastes of peach, pear, wheat, hay, some pepper, and Brett. Nice carbonation with doughy palate. Pretty delightful.

Merci Patrick.

Bottle. Big golden saison foamy pour, with lots of lacing. Aroma, lemon, Brett, grass, and slight grains. Taste, nice blast of citrus up front, mild hop presence, lively carbonation, some vinous white grape, nice funk, and fairly dry finish. Overall a very nice Brett forward saison, and yet another solid offering from Evil Twin.

glennmastrange (2255) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - APR 28, 2014
Bottle. Moderate grain and straw for the malt, heavy grass for the hops, moderate to heavy yeast notes of barnyard and musty, with hints of honey, damp oak wood and dried apricot. Head is huge, fizzy/frothy turning rocky, with excellent lacigng and is fully lasting. Color is hazy medium amber. Flavor starts heavily acidic, then finishes heavily acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is medium, dry with a fizzy carbonation and finishes very dry. Now that’s a sharp yet refreshing beer. Definitely a Saison leanind towards Farmhouse or even a sour.

Pours light hazy amber with frothy white head , without overdoing it like some Brett saisons. Nice funky smell that stays fresh throughout two pours from a 22oz bottle. Fruity hints and tartness. Really drinkable. I like that it is funkier than the best farmhouse ales made with traditional yeast but less sour or astringent than other Brett's I've tried ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
