average frothy white head. fair lacing. mostly diminishing. sparkling flat thick dark yellow body. aroma: white grape, apple, white wine, little vinegar. if: moderate sweet. ff: light sweet moderate acidic; long duration. palate: medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, light astringent finish. 150 s

Idiosynkrasie (4661) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - JAN 30, 2014
330ml bottle. Cloudy golden colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Excellent, complex aroma, floral, yeasty, fruity, zesty, malty, oaky, minimally vinous; somehow hints of sugar powder, biscuit dough. Taste is dry vinous and minimally tart on a moderately sweet malty basis, again biscuity doughy, zesty, floral, fruity, oaky; soft palate, oily and minimally "crumbly" texture. Unbelievable beer, absolutely outstanding, superbly balanced, mild, though rich and complex.

Bottle, bought @ Mikkeller Beer Shop. Pours hazy yellow amber with a large, staying, creamy, white head. Aroma has doughy malts, wine, apples, oak, light pepper, some piney hops. Low yet prickly carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has oak, dryness, wine, doughy, complex, pepper. Lingering bitterness and softly vinious. Nice.

Straw gold with lots of effervescent bubbles floating to the top constantly feeding a tall pillowy cap. First sip was yummy, aroma is also full of yummy. Aroma has a yummy mellow funk, lemon, some kind of vanilla baking. Aroma is so dam full. Taste is the same basically....... maybe more funky. So much lemon bordering on tart. Where is all this vanilla coming from. I like this beer kind of, the style is not normally my thing but this is ok.

Unclear pale yellow with decent white head. Fruit salad and lime nose, rich but zesty. Seeping wine but mostly rich dark berry. Oily but peppery mouthfeel. Big tang of lime towards the end. Pretty tidy, if you ignore the price.

Bottle, BeerMoth, November Tasting.
