Bottle @ S&B#2. Pours hazy golden with a lacing frothy small head. Aroma is red apple, orange, honey, pepper, flowery, soap, light malts, spice, herbs and oak. Taste is near medium sweet and light+ bitter. Body is medium. Finishes sweet, spicy and hoppy. Exiting and tasty experiment, the red wine notes does pair oddly with the rest.

Bottle at Sour & Bitter #2, pours a hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma is unusual - red wine and Belgian yeast combined, with equal parts red wine and Belgian yeast. Also some musty herbal notes, and some weird body odour. Flavour is similarly odd, with an odd marriage of red wine and saison notes -- with herbal musty notes, complex red wine notes, earth, and body odour. Very bizarre mix of flavours. Not sure why you’d barrel age a saison in red wine barrels. The flavours aren’t really complimentary. It’s not a disaster, but the flavours aren’t harmonious at all. Decent experiment.

Juicy, tangerine-centric aroma. Little hints of Lemon Pledge. Wow, awesome. Malty palate; yeast tickles my taste buds. Refined, tasty, really good. Evil Twin is impressing me lately.
