Idiosynkrasie (3929) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - JAN 30, 2014
330ml bottle. Cloudy golden colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Excellent, complex aroma, floral, yeasty, fruity, zesty, malty, oaky, minimally vinous; somehow hints of sugar powder, biscuit dough. Taste is dry vinous and minimally tart on a moderately sweet malty basis, again biscuity doughy, zesty, floral, fruity, oaky; soft palate, oily and minimally "crumbly" texture. Unbelievable beer, absolutely outstanding, superbly balanced, mild, though rich and complex.

DuffMan (6886) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 12, 2014
Bottle, shared with my wife. Very hazy yellow body with a lively lacy white head. I know this says it was aged in red wine barrels, but I’m getting a juicy fresh green grape character up front, then some chamomile and light funk, ending with a summery grassy note. Finish is tart. This was a complete surprise! Absolutely awesome, so drinkable and with such depth-- we both loved this beer.

330 ml bottle. Pours amber with light head. Aromas of Belgian yeast, oak, peach skin, and toasted malts. Fruity flavors (peaches, grapes and bananas), with big yeasty notes cut nicely by the oaky wood. Very tasty. Great stuff.

McNeillR (1242) - SCOTLAND - NOV 29, 2013
Unclear pale yellow with decent white head. Fruit salad and lime nose, rich but zesty. Seeping wine but mostly rich dark berry. Oily but peppery mouthfeel. Big tang of lime towards the end. Pretty tidy, if you ignore the price.

Bottle, BeerMoth, November Tasting.
