Pours a full glass of mocha foam. Dark chocolate and smoked oak aromas. Thin and dry with dark chocolate and espresso upfront turning to soy milk chocolate in the lasting finish.

Pours black with a fizzy brown head. Almost like a coca cola head. Aroma has sweet dark dried fruits up front, some more toffee and caramel notes behind this. Also getting some vanilla, butterscotch, sweet bourbon notes and some burnt sugar. Taste is sweet and roasted. Lots of roasty bitterness, weak dark chocolate, caramel, vanilla and quite salty. Wooow this contains alot of carbonation which distracts the flavor.

Bottle. Pours Black with a huge, brown soda-head. Looks fizzy! Aroma of Heavy gun-powder-bourbon, Heavy roast, burned suger. Dark caramel and Dark dried fruits. I have to go with the Body first: crazy fizzy, and litterally explodes in your mouth with carbonation. It overwhelms the taste a little. Taste do though have lots of sweet bourbon characters and a bit of Wood. Roasted bitterness, light chocolate and tar. Way overcarbonated, which is a shame. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Flaska från mikkeller. Stort skum som ligger ett bra tag. Svart i färg och oljig i konsistens. Smakrik men samtidigt mjuk och lätt

33cl, new exclusive Danish brew Anno 2012, from Mikkeller Webshop, complex Stout, roasted/woody and slightly alcoholic, not too heavy, yet not balanced, hazy, rocky head, nice brew, yet expensive!

DUft: en lille smule duft af Brandt malt, kaffe, svag duft af røg. Smag: kiks kaffe. Brandt malt. meget co2 i denne øl næsten for meget. sødme. svag røg.

Bottle at the Porter. Gushed a bit when first opened. Poured black with a fizzy mocha colored head. Plus carbonation. Aroma was nice and roasty with light hints of bourbon. Faint. Flavors were ruined by a tingly over carbonated palate. Dark malts, some vanilla, bourbon were hidden in there somewhere. There is nothing worse than an over carbed imperial stout. Hurts.

Opaque black beer, huge pale tan head. Massive! Light airy palate, a little dry. Creamy malt, dry. Mild bourbon, a light tang. Dry dry finish. A pretty average BA beer, really not that much going on.

Countbeer (4372) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - APR 6, 2013
Bottle: Thanks Mark: Almost gusher, big airy tan light brown foamy head that collapses fairly quick and leaves a lacing on top of a pitch black colored beer. Aromas of liquorice, roast, dark chocolate, hint of whiskey/bourbon notes. Flavours of roast, earthy, molasses, bitters, hint of vanilla, some bitter liquorice. Aftertaste is bitter with roast and spices. Low carbo, soft creamy close to silky mouthfeel, full body and a creamy texture. Good beer but somehow there’s just a touch of bourbon which makes me think it’s been aged for just a short time. Still damn tasty!

Uploading old ratings that were missing comments. Too much heat. Flavor is overwhelmed. A rare miss. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle poured a clear dark reddish brown with a lasting brown head. Aromas of roastiness, bitter chocolate, bourbon, oak, carmel, smoke and earthiness. Palate was medium to full bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of smoke, roastiness, bitter chocolate, bourbon, carmel and oak with a smooth dry bitter lingering roasty chocolate finish.
