COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: In Denmark we have a lovely tradition for seasonal beer, and what you have here is certainly no exception. This is a never before seen collaboration between Ryan and the Beaster Bunny. A fluffy and precious Saison brewed on the beautiful island of Fanø on the west coast of Denmark. It may sound like a true fairytale, but don’t be fooled by it’s cute appearance.
Ingredienser: vand, malt, humle, gær.

Editor’s note: initially brewed by Fanø in Denmark

Pours burnt orange with a small white head. Aroma is earthy, citrus, yeast and almost barnyard like. Taste is tart, spicy and sweet. Medium bodied with a crisp finish. Very nice brew that is quite refreshing.

50 cl bottle @ home. Pours hazy golden with quite a bit of sediment and a huge white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma and flavour are citrus, Belgian yeast, spices, and flowers - with a dry finish.

Appearance: this beer pours with a huge off white head that dissipates pretty fast, the beer is a very hazy orange color Aroma: lots of lemon, citrus, coriander, tart notes, Taste: coriander, pretty sweet, tart, hints of bitterness, alcohol definitely noticeable too Palate: average carbonation, leaves mouth dry, coriander and alcohol aftertaste, good froth feel Overall: this farmhouse has a lot of tart to it, not real sour at all, good but the high abv contributes too much to the taste ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 11/7/2013. Pours moderately hazy bright golden amber color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon, pear, apple, peach, orange peel, clove, pepper, wheat, straw, grass, herbal, light musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of hop, yeast ester, and malt notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon, pear, apple, peach, orange peel, clove, pepper, wheat, straw, grass, herbal, light musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Fair amount of earthy/herbal spiciness/tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pear, apple, peach, orange peel, clove, pepper, wheat, straw, grass, herbal, light musty funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and complexity of hop, yeast ester, and malt flavors; with a great malt/yeast balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and fairly crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice saison style. All around good balance of hop, yeast ester, and malt flavors; and very smooth to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Hazy yellow orange body with a thin white head. Aroma is fruity grassy hops, apricot, citrus. Taste is medium sweet with some medium bitterness and a bit salty. The finish is a bit abrupt forcing you to ask for more. I enjoyed it. Nice refreshing beer.

pours hazy gold with minimal head lacing; nose is apple cider, yeast and cloves; taste is bitter, a tad sour, dry, no apparent sweetness and yet it is more rounded than expected so clearly there is sweet and salt here; palate is creamy and carbonated, a little sticky with a sour bitter finish. As an excellent example of the style.

Bottled. Pours hazy and deep golden with a large, lacing, white head. Aroma of citrus, peach, caramel, yeast and spicy notes. Sweet flavor that ends up dry and decent bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carb. A nice one.
