English: In Denmark we have a lovely tradition for seasonal beer, and what you have here is certainly no exception. This is a never before seen collaboration between Ryan and the Beaster Bunny. A fluffy and precious Saison brewed on the beautiful island of Fanø on the west coast of Denmark. It may sound like a true fairytale, but don’t be fooled by it’s cute appearance.
Ingredienser: vand, malt, humle, gær.

Editor’s note: initially brewed by Fanø in Denmark

Pours a ultra clear golden with a thin white head that tends to go away but still leave some nice patterns on the glass. Aroma is mighty spicy backed by a little grain and maybe a little floral hops. Taste is quite dry with an higher level of bitterness. Flavors are herbal, grainy, floral and you can also find some bubblegum and citrus in there. It is also quite boozy which is a downer. It is really effervescent and refreshing. Nice one!

Pours a lemon yellow with one finger head and heavy lacing. Aroma of yeast, pleasant yeast, hint of citrus and bubblegum. Taste is unexpectedly very bitter resinous hoppiness. Full bodied, creamy, yet moderate & effervescent carbonation. Medium finish. This is a unique beer. not your typical farmhouse style. Aptly named.

Yeasty aroma with a bit of spice, and funk. Hazy pour with thin white head. Fairly smooth with a subtle bitterness. Finish is dry with a slight lingering bitterness in the aftertaste.

Orange pour slight haze. Some white head. Smells of briny yeasty apricots. Fruity and bready. Tastes like rye sourdough bread. Citrus qualities, grains of paradise, & some basement funk. A bit too carbonated. Drying on the palate. A bit overpowering all around actually. Too strong into the bitter, acid, and alcohol to be appropriate: seems like a pale ale/saison hybrid. Also sorta reminds me of bitting into a moldy lemon.

Bottle at 16 Tons Taphouse, Eugene. Pours a medium golden color, white head. Aroma is effing awesome, yeasty, tart, just what a saison should be. Body is lively, finish spicy, long lasting, really excellent, almost a bark-like bitterness comes in at very end. Well done.

Bottle - Citrus and grass hops with some sweet yeast. Hazy yellow with a rich head. Sweet and boozy with a huge yeast profile. To sweet and yeasty for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Jerry’s. Pale yellow-gold with modest, creamy white head / Bretty nose of citrus & orchard fruit, straw, spice / Light body, crisp, dry, just a hint thin, good fruit balance, nice bitter finish / Stylish, dry flavors of lemon, pear, melon, straw, grass, coriander, horse blanket, light manure / An easy, yet complex, porch quaffer.
