English: In Denmark we have a lovely tradition for seasonal beer, and what you have here is certainly no exception. This is a never before seen collaboration between Ryan and the Beaster Bunny. A fluffy and precious Saison brewed on the beautiful island of Fanø on the west coast of Denmark. It may sound like a true fairytale, but don’t be fooled by it’s cute appearance.
Ingredienser: vand, malt, humle, gær.

Editor’s note: initially brewed by Fanø in Denmark

Poured from a bottle into pint glass. One inch thick head. Simple aroma of Belgian candy sugars and bananas. Straw yellow Color with tons of sediment floating around. I'm not a snob and rarely ever do "drain pours" but I couldn't finish this beer. It might have been a bad batch or improperly stored, because my experience does not jive with other reviews at all. Harsh mouthfeel with overtly strong bitterness. Would never guess this was supposed to be a saison. Like an IPA without any malt or hop aromatics. Only hints of the Belgian yeasts in the flavor and not much else. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz bottle from Total Wine. Lemony / peppery slight floral yeasty banana scent with a touch of biscuit malt character at the end. Very neat white head with lots of retention and lace from a slight hazed yellow pour. Good carbonation and overall dryness with a very mild acidity in the finish - the pale malt settles to the back with the lemon yeast hop flavors joining everything into a very enjoyable selection perhaps from Caerbannog.

Bottle, bottled on 2013-06-21. Hazy yellow with a medium sized creamy white head. Good retention and lace. Fruit esters, grassy hops, soapy, citrus, pear, pepper. Medium body, medium sweet and bitter, nice filling mouthfeel. Light dry and lingering bitter finish with fruit notes. Very refreshing and the bitterness suits my taste just fine.

(Aug. 2013, bottle from City Beer, SF) Pours like a very liquidy, fair acacia honey. The aroma is full and sweet, like a blossoming flower field with some classic Belgian yeast added. Taste is sweet, easy and soft, slightly bitter - not sour enough for my idea of a saison. Nice and clean, but nothing special.

Pours hazy gold with a medium head. Aroma is quite nice- burlap, lemon, lilac, fall leaves, hot apple cider, and just a pinch of spice. Flavor is initially peppery and warm, bit of dusty earth and funk, some tart lemon notes, a bit of black pepper, hay/grass in the finish. Wow.

Bottle [12oz]. Pours a hazy yellow-gold with an average size lasting fluffy off-white head and a good amount of lacing on the glass. Yeasty, herbal aroma along with grassy hops, some honey and wheat. Flavour is spicy, herbal, a bit sweet and yeasty along with honey, wheat and fruit. Average bitter finish. Medium bodied. Pretty good, I liked it.
