English: In Denmark we have a lovely tradition for seasonal beer, and what you have here is certainly no exception. This is a never before seen collaboration between Ryan and the Beaster Bunny. A fluffy and precious Saison brewed on the beautiful island of Fanø on the west coast of Denmark. It may sound like a true fairytale, but don’t be fooled by it’s cute appearance.
Ingredienser: vand, malt, humle, gær.

Editor’s note: initially brewed by Fanø in Denmark

Bottle. Hazy gold with a thick white head that leaves lots of lacing. Aroma is spelt, fruity esters and clove. Taste adds some citrus and a peppery finish. Soft mouthfeel with strong carb and a long finish. Really nice.

12 oz. bottled 03/05/14. Misty golden with a lasting film of cream. Smells of toast, spicy dry yeast and funky white grape must. Flavors of earthy white grape, spicy yeasty funk, mango-pineapple bubblegum, resin, and touches of wheat and wood on the finish. Medium body has a high carbonation that’s too fizzy, but is still pretty drinkable with a great balance.

12oz bottle pours a golden yellow color with a thick white head that leaves great lacing. Smells of Belgian yeast, grass, citrus, pepper, and spices. Tastes of the same things in the smell with a good hope bite for a saison. Mouthfeel is medium and chewy with good carbonation and a dry finish. Great saison, my only gripe was it being too hoppy. Nice flavors and balance besides that. One of the better saisons around.

BLADT (627) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - APR 27, 2014
Bottle pour. Honey colored, with limited head that quickly turns into a soapy film that lingers. Aroma is Belgium yeast and the requisite spice, apple cider vinegar, barnyard bacteria and pleasant backing of lemony hops. Very lively. Taste starts tart - pears, apples - and then moves through a generous amount of grassy hops. Some coriander and passion fruit sweetness jostle for attention. Bitter for style, but well done.
