English: In Denmark we have a lovely tradition for seasonal beer, and what you have here is certainly no exception. This is a never before seen collaboration between Ryan and the Beaster Bunny. A fluffy and precious Saison brewed on the beautiful island of Fanø on the west coast of Denmark. It may sound like a true fairytale, but don’t be fooled by it’s cute appearance.
Ingredienser: vand, malt, humle, gær.

Editor’s note: initially brewed by Fanø in Denmark

Pours clear amber. Smell is that of very fresh, mashed amber malts. Taste is slightly bitter, again the amber malty aroma up front. I like it. Bit sweet finish

Pailhead (5438) - Plymouth, Michigan, USA - FEB 20, 2015
Bottle: The aroma consists of citrus, cotton candy, soap, coriander, straw/grass, and light lemon peel. It pours a hazy (bordering on cloudy) dull golden-orange with two finger white head that eventually fades to a thin film outlined by a thicker ring. There is some very thin webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with moderate citrus with a hint of cotton candy. The finish has moderate florals, lemon peel, coriander, and a touch of grass. It’s medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Overall, this pretty tasty, but it’s pretty hoppy for a Saison.

12oz bottle from J’s Liquors in Owensboro, KY. Poured into a stemmed tulip. Huge eggshell white soapy head with a nice hazy pineapple color. Tart on the nose with hints of green apple, citrus and cardamom. Brett funkiness comes out a little as it warms to room temperature.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - hazy golden with a nice lacy head. Nose - tangy pineapple. Slight funk. Very delicate spice. Taste - light zingy yeasty pineapple. Palate - light to medium bodied with a lean tight texture in the middle section and a dry tangy finish. Overall - it’s a saison which is a style I like a lot. It doesn’t go beyond that but it’s good.
