COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: In Denmark we have a lovely tradition for seasonal beer, and what you have here is certainly no exception. This is a never before seen collaboration between Ryan and the Beaster Bunny. A fluffy and precious Saison brewed on the beautiful island of Fanø on the west coast of Denmark. It may sound like a true fairytale, but don’t be fooled by it’s cute appearance.
Ingredienser: vand, malt, humle, gær.

Editor’s note: initially brewed by Fanø in Denmark

12 oz. bottle. Light, cloudy gold color, with a small, white head. The aroma is circus peanuts, light citrus hops, coriander, and some grass and herbal notes. The flavor is crisp and sweet up front, but is quickly overtaken by distinct bitterness, and a light citrusy sourness. Medium body, acidic, but nicely smooth. Overall, this is a bitter and hoppy saison, but with a good citrusy and funky base. Nice.

Turbid pale orange. Pleasant saisony aroma. Fizzy palate. Boring saison taste. Very cookie cutter, and with no character. Way too fizzy. Didn’t know the strength, it feels sub-5%. Bonus point for covering the alcohol well.

Bottle to tulip Light yeast and horse blanket, bready malts, lemon, and wheat. Clear light amber with a creamy 1/2 cm white head and lots of effervescence. Taste is wheat and yeast, some bitterness, pear, and with some light bubble gum and cherry notes. Very refreshing

Bottle at home from Tasty Beverage. Was hoping for a bit more. Pours a hazy orange with a quickly dissipating white head. Super Belgian-y. Over the top yeasty/grainy notes. Pepper/ spice in the middle and finishes on the bitter and overly piney side. Especially as it warms up. Funky and a bit sour at the end. Might just be a bit too much beer for the mood- definitely leaning towards lighter/crisper/ lower abv at the moment. Not bad. One is enough.

Tap@brewdog hki. Copper clear. Hay malty, caramels, belgy yeasty on nose. Sort of murky, not really refreshing, rather old berry- like nose. Med full bodied. Berries, slight red sour ones, hay malty, caramel dryish finish. Has a lot of flavours, but feels like a rather unremembable belgian ale.

Bottle at Brasserie V. Solid Saison. Funky. Horse blanket. US mouthfeel with a little more euro sensibility. Pretty good, maybe not World Class though. OK.

Draught @Brewdog helsinki. Amber colored, thin white head. Spicy aroma, citrus, floral notes, some tartness. Flavor has lemony notes, spices, hops. Fruity, hoppy saison, dry finish. Refreshing, but not that interesting.

Draught. Bronze in color whitish head. Mild damp cellar and ripe garden fruityness in aroma. Very sweet though in taste. Fruits-in-a-box. Some grassy notes perhaps too. Mild but drinkable.

Tap @ brewdog hkl. Pours unclear golden orange with minimal white head. Notes of rubber, fruits, citrus, tarts, sour. Disappointment..
