COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: In Denmark we have a lovely tradition for seasonal beer, and what you have here is certainly no exception. This is a never before seen collaboration between Ryan and the Beaster Bunny. A fluffy and precious Saison brewed on the beautiful island of Fanø on the west coast of Denmark. It may sound like a true fairytale, but don’t be fooled by it’s cute appearance.
Ingredienser: vand, malt, humle, gær.

Editor’s note: initially brewed by Fanø in Denmark

Draft. An unclear yellow beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has strong notes of lemon as well notes of hops and grass. The flavor is sweet lemon, hops, and malt, leading to a very bitter finish.

On tap. Pours a cloudy opaque golden with a small white head leaving a discreet lacework. The nose is very fresh and fruity with distinct citrus hops. Fairly light-bodied with a discreet underlying fruit sweetness but mainly pretty dry and even minerally - I sense a little salt here. The yeast character is pleasantly downplayed. Ends dry and rathe lightly hopped. Very refreshing. 090411

Draught@CPH BF 2011. Golden colour, small head. Aroma is fruits, bitterness, some mild hay and earth. Flavour is wooden, fruity, rather hoppy along with some slight spicyness. A bit too hoppy for my taste.

On tap at Craft Beer. Cheers to Ndon for sharing. Clear rich gold beer, tidy white head. Honey estery nose - trace of glue. Smooth palate. Light fruit salad. A trace of honey with those ester sweet notes again. Finishes semi dry. Not bad but sufficiently left of centre that I never quite relaxed in to the beer and one eyebrow raised at each mouthful.

Bottle from Pibar, Lausanne; bottled 06/21/13
Hazy golden color with small head. The spicy aroma has difficulties to develop; it’s nice but too mild, with sweet orange peel. Smooth mouthfeel; the spicy character is excellent, sharp and powerful, one of the best; strong bitterness, tickling the tongue, with a moderately fruity final.
Very good.
