COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: In Denmark we have a lovely tradition for seasonal beer, and what you have here is certainly no exception. This is a never before seen collaboration between Ryan and the Beaster Bunny. A fluffy and precious Saison brewed on the beautiful island of Fanø on the west coast of Denmark. It may sound like a true fairytale, but don’t be fooled by it’s cute appearance.
Ingredienser: vand, malt, humle, gær.

Editor’s note: initially brewed by Fanø in Denmark

Bottle shared by HopTsing & tia at the 19th Richmond Ratebeer Gathering. Pours a hazy pale yellow color with a large fizzy tan head. Fair head retention. Aroma of citrus, stone fruits, coconut, bread, mild spice and earth. The taste is bread, nutty notes, citrus, stone fruits, mild herbal hops. Medium bodied, slight lingering bitterness. Nice beer.

1 pt 0.9 fl. oz. bottle @ home from De Molen. Body is clear yellow to cloudy golden orange to hazy light brown. Head is extremely large, fizzy and rocky, off-white, fully lasting and even further growing for more minutes, excellent lacing. Nose is grape, caramel, floral, Aroma is licorice, caramel, roasted malt, cereal, hops, more hops. Taste light sweetness, medium to heavy bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, long lasting hoppy bitter finish. Refreshing, easy to drink, simple, delicious, later quite IPA-ish.

"Started off a little ho hum in the nose, especially compared to the ron and the beast ryan awesomeness. But, it opened up nicely to become a nice lightly funky and peppery fruity peachy brew. A little understated, but that’s ok. "

Four pack from Wines & More in Milford CT. Poured into a tulip glass. A grassy light honey color. White head that fades to a thin lace. Herbal-citrus aromas. Flavor is very yeast. Dry profile, and pretty much one dimensional, but otherwise fairly tasty and drinkable. Lingering dry-bitter-yeasty finish.

This is a version of this style that would have me becoming more a fan of the style. Aroma is citrus, yeast. Taste is lemon, slightly roasted grain and followed by a nice, mild hops bitterness and a little bit of booze - just a tiny bit. Palate is very satisfying, not too carbonated, just right. Very good.

Bottle. Aroma of orange and yeast. The taste is very similar. Very light on any alcohol burn, and the orange and yeast are very prevalent. Very tasty brew, highly recommended. 7% alcohol.

From 12 oz bottle in tulip glass. Pour is slightly hazy yellow with a thin but persisting head. Herbal aromas with strong ¸farmhouse yeasts. Lots of citrus and some grains. Taste is relatively bitter and the bitterness stays for a long time. A strong alcoholic touch for a beer with 7 %. Strong belgian yeasts. Floral hops. Very refreshing, but quite heavy for a Farmhouse Ale.

Massive, puffy white head. Intense carbonation. Cloudy pineapple yellow color. As it dies down, an absolute sheet of thick, white lace protects the rim of the glass: possibly the most incredible lacing I’ve ever seen. Aroma is soapy, with touches of lemon and floor cleaner. A little horseblanket touch, but not overwhelming. The flavor is musty, with more of that Lemon Pledge flavor. (Not that I have a true basis for comparison here.) There is a leafy component, with some hay and maybe a touch of grape nuts? The finishing touch is a slight citrus/tangerine accent. The feel is creamy and smooth. This is a really enjoyable beer; full of flavor but middle of the road enough that you could pass it around.
