English: In Denmark we have a lovely tradition for seasonal beer, and what you have here is certainly no exception. This is a never before seen collaboration between Ryan and the Beaster Bunny. A fluffy and precious Saison brewed on the beautiful island of Fanø on the west coast of Denmark. It may sound like a true fairytale, but don’t be fooled by it’s cute appearance.
Ingredienser: vand, malt, humle, gær.

Editor’s note: initially brewed by Fanø in Denmark

Hazy gold pour with a 2 finger, bright white head. Aroma is spicy, peppery yeast, citrus, tart tree and stone fruit, light minerality and nice, sweet floral notes. Flavor starts off with spicy yeast, cereal, bready malt, grass, pepper doughy yeast, then lots of citrus and floral hops come in along with some spiciness toward the slightly bitter finish. Light to medium body with an oily but dry entry, dry finish and medium strength, sharp and blanketing carbonation that suit the beer very nicely. Really good. I usually end up wishing that most stronger Saisons were a little less so, but with the balance leaning more toward the hoppy side, and still having a solid, but not overbearing yeast presence I think this one is right where it needs to be.

Hazy gold with lots of bubbling that holds a thin white head. It’s smells like a hefe with characteristic banana and also nice mineral content from the water. It’s not sharp as tends to be the trends with saison these days from craft breweries. Rather, the palate is smooth and agreeable. It finishes with minimal sweetness. Pretty nice.

355ml bottle @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours hazy amber with big white head. Lots of yeasty goodness jumping out the glass. Exceptionally big flavoured with almost weisse-like vanilla esters alongside a sweet saison base. A bit in yr face but enjoyable.

bottle at my favourite baren i kronborggade. pale golden with a shortlived head; plenty of yeast showing in the nose, some light lemon and old books; somewhat grassy with a surprising surge of bitterness

Pours a light yellow colour with a small white head. Aroma of floral hops, some yeast and citrus. Flavour of floral hops, yeast, citrus and loads of sweet fruits. Even mild spices. Medium bodied with a slick mouthfeel and a fruity, mild spicy finish. Tasty

Smells like a farmhouse ale, apple notes, yeast, funk. Pours clear and golden, thick white head. Notes of apple juice, orange, clove, other spices. Sweeter than most farmhand ales that I have tasted, but also more bitter (good balance). Medium body, not as balanced as I would have liked, really dry finish, moderately carbonated. Although enjoyable, it is too sweet and too bitter for me to love this farmhand ale, but if that's your thing, this is great brew.

Pours a finger of head on a hazy straw body. The aroma is a dry grain background with ripe fruits up front. Nice. The taste has a moderate bitterness all the way through, a little fruit sweetness tries to come out. The texture is soft and fizzy.

Komm her Du Hase, ich zieh Dir die Ohren lang! Was hast für eine Nase, fruchtig, grasig, Hase halt. Jetzt Fell abziehen. Erst etwas bitter, etwas alkoholisch, dann noch stärker bitter im Abgang. Die Frucht bleibt wie die Eier gut versteckt - sehr schade.

on tap @ Party Town (Friday Night Flights) / Florence KY --- Hazy deep lemon colored amber, white head, streaks of lace. Taste is honey malt and sweet butter that turns tart and adds fizz on the swallow, then moves smoothly to floral hops. Palate cleansing, refreshing, but wouldn’t make an evening of this only.
