Bottle at Chriso’s Fullers-Gales Tasting. It pours cloudy orange, with a thick, fluffy white head. The nose is hay, grass, floral, spice and some herb. The taste is grass, hay, straw, herbal, and metal, with a very dry finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Not bad.

UPDATED: FEB 24, 2012 (Draught) Pours hazy orange amber with a creamy, off white head. The aroma holds flowers, hard fruit candy and light sweetish malt up front with undertones of orange juice, bread, mild spices, wet stones/minerals and wet leafs. The flavour is light sweet, medium to heavily bitter and tiny acidic. Tones of clean citrus and light toasted malt. Hints of flowers and minerals. The mouthfeel is super clean yet fairly soft with a medium carbonation. Clean citric and dry malty finish. Light to medium bodied.

Bottle at Chris O’s tasting. Cloudy/hazy golden amber looking pale ale with a creamy white head. Nose is yeast, pine, bit of citrous hop. Taste is citrous hop, pine, bit of eucalyptus, but there’s not really enough malt backbone for me and the body is a touch watery. Still ok though.
