English: This stout looks like soft dookie and some will say it smells and tastes like it too. If you like a thick, creamy and utterly vanillalicious stout you’ll like this one. If you don’t, get yourself something else instead.

Aroma a combo of black licorice, vanilla and lactose. Black body with a thin black cap that leaves some spotty lace. Mouthfeel is prickly form the carbonation, medium body. Flavors of black licorice and coffee with some earth on the back side.

Drank w Matt before Emma's dad's Quizmas. Pitch black pour, medium creamy fizzy tan head. Smells of bitter dark malt, a faint touch of salt/soy sauce. Taste is high bitterness, moderately burnt malt, somewhat sweeter finish. Big and tasty. Not that complex despite its bigness; sort of what you'd expect. Still, very enjoyable.

Bottle from Bottle Shop at home on a cold Saturday. Pitch black pour with brown tan head with crop circle foam. Aroma is vanilla, some licorice, roasted malt, some sour hops. Taste is big but rather straightforward creamy roasted malt flavor. Vanilla and some booze on the finish, but not much else. Not bad at all but a bit of a disappointment.

Sweet and strong. Nicely balanced for a trendy craft beer, but strangely lacking in complexity for something so strong. Just straight up roasted malt flavour.

UPDATED: JAN 9, 2016 Bottle. Pours black with a very small, mocha-colored head. The vanilla dominates the aroma. There’s some roast and chocolate too with a slight touch of soy sauce and a dash more liquorice. But really vanilla, roast and chocolate with liquorice. The vanilla is in the taste as well, but there’s plenty of other stuff as well: Roast and chocolate of course, but the liquorice is very dominating, some coffee. Surprisingly light.

Czarne piwo o ciemnobeżowej, gęstej i puszystej pianie oraz owocowym, lekko winnym i trochę palonym aromacie. W smaku gęste i kremowe, początkowo owocowe i winne, następnie kawowe z wytrawnym, lekko palonym i trochę rozgrzewającym finiszem oraz pozostawiające słodkawym posmak.

butelka, warka duzo-trudnych-cyferek. na szybko: bardzo delikatny, lekki, kremowy, owocowy ris. duzo waniliowo-wisniowej slodyczy, kawa i czekolada tez sa, rodzynek i sliwek prawie nie czuc... palonosci nie zawiele, duzo slodyczy, troszke kwaskowatosci. alkohol delikatnie i dosc milo wyczuwalny. zaskakujaco lekkie i pijalne piwo. baaaardzo cacy.

Bottle - another solid, albeit overpriced imperial stout from this brewery - aromas and flavors of vanilla, tamarind, molasses, light smoke, roast, cherry - fairly sweet, but with a decent balancing acidity, spicy alcohol, and tannic character - I enjoy it.

33cl bottle. Deep brown/black colour with a nice beige head. Liquorice, roasted, vanilla, dark chocolate and light alcohol in the aroma. Average carbonation and medium to full body. Taste starts sweet with coffee and chocolate notes but changing to a bitter sweet finish with vanilla notes. Overall, a not so complex but quite good Imperial Stout.
