COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English: This stout looks like soft dookie and some will say it smells and tastes like it too. If you like a thick, creamy and utterly vanillalicious stout youíll like this one. If you donít, get yourself something else instead.

Purchased at systembolaget in Uppsala sometime in the middle of June, 2011. Overall, this is a very flavorful stout and one that I will certainly buy again. Pours with a deep, dark brown color and a medium-sized beige head. The lacing is decent, but Iíve seen far better. The aroma is powerful: vanilla, dark chocolate, burnt malts and a hint of alcohol. It smells like a desert in a bottle. The mouth feel is creamy, although less so than expected. The is taste is bitter sweet: vanilla galore, dark chocolate, roasted coffee beans and booze. Wonderful with desert.

Sweet aroma has vanilla and chocolate. Flavour is roasted with lots of chocolate, which feels a bit artificial though. Also hints of vanilla. Very nice chocolate stout, which should however be enjoyed in small amounts. The chocolate is not nice any more after three deciliters.

Black/brown pour with creamy tan head and lace. Black coffee, sour malt, and chocolate aroma. Vanilla, burnt coffee, and good malt bitter. The Dookie covers the abv well. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Nice beer that just missing clicking on all cylinders for me.

My first Evil Twin beer. Iím not sure how I feel about all the shitty labels and descrptions they use to describe their beer, but I can say that it really does smell and taste better than actual feces. Itís much drier and bitter than I expected. The vanilla comes through strong but it is closely paired with large amounts of roasted malts and heavy hops. It doesnít tend to very sweet at all. I enjoy the combination of dark chocolate and bitter hops paired along side the slightly noticeable sweetness of the vanilla. Has a medium to full body with moderately soft carbonation. I just simply enjoy vanilla stouts. This one is going to make me explore more Evil Twin brews.

Bottled. Very dark brown color, lasting creamy head coloured in beige . Intense vanilla aroma with smokiness of vanilla cigar. Dried plums, licorice and some coal in the background. Int the flavor, the alcohol hits at first hiding almost immediately under roasted and slightly charred maltiness. Roasted and sweetish maltines dominates at first, leading into dark fruitiness, dark chocolate and deeply roasted coffee. The finish is dry and bitter but it has delicious flavor of vanilla ice cream and light nuttiness in it. Soft and smooth texture, sticky bitter finish with a hint of alcoholic warmth. Tremendous beer, it really surprises and changes its nature all the way. Loved it.

A: pours basically black, with a finger and a half of coffee with cream colored head. The head does leave an almost nitrotap like lacing. S: big anise and chocolate. A dry floral hop. Dark roasted malt. T: chocolaty, anise. nice floral, lightly bitter hop, almost makes the chocolate pop out more. M: creamy, both in the overall mouth feel and carbonation. O: first bottle that tastes almost exactly the same as it does on tap.

Half liter bottle pours dark darkness with nice looking mocha head. The aroma has some rich coffee, malts balls, dark roasted malts and some black patent malts mixing with chocolate malts. The taste is dark roasted malts goodness, chocolate malt balls, rich dark roasted coffee, some spicy black licorice and yummy bakerís chocolate. Delicious rich brew.

Bottle@home Aroma of coffee, vanilla, roasted notes, soy, dark chocolate. Black color w brown small head. Flavor is bitter of roasted malt, vanilla, coffee, soy, dark chocolate and some alcohol in the finish. Full bodied, flat carbonation. For a dookie, it was quite delicious.

Shared by emacgee. Thanks Ethan. Looks like ultra soft (liquid) dookie. dark brown with small sudsy tan head. nose of vanilla, dark chocolate, vinegar, ash; quite nice. Flavor is very bitter, with the booze more apparent, dark bitter chocolate. Did I mention itís a little bitter?
