English: This stout looks like soft dookie and some will say it smells and tastes like it too. If you like a thick, creamy and utterly vanillalicious stout you’ll like this one. If you don’t, get yourself something else instead.

500ml bottle. Pitch black, brown head. Big, heavily toasted, malty nose, coffe beans, chocolate, menthol, ashes, smoke, leather. Slightly sweet, full bodied, creamy, bitter. Rich, toasted, malty taste, lots of dark chocolates and coffee beans, smoke, ashes, vanilla, rich alcohol. (2011-07-03)

Hard to resist a name like this, almost a dare. Sophomoric stuff notwithstanding, I was not expecting to enjoy this one as much as I did. Almost like an imperial oatmeal stout in terms of its depth, heft, and splendidly chalky mouthfeel, it’s got just enough of a vanilla presence to complement the wonderfully balanced chocolate and roasted malts. Very yummy, and I hope to have this one again.

Bottle shared at Natifest ’11. Poured black color with a medium frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy dark chocolate malt and caramel aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy roasted coffee and chocolate sweet flavor with a medium to heavy dark sweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectations where exceeded.

UPDATED: AUG 20, 2011 great beer by the new brewer. i’ll add more later when im not drunk. oops. EDIT: Thick almost oatmeal stout, a no frills perfectly balanced stout, hops balance without giving that sweet or overly bitter finish.

Nice smell of artificial vanilla extract, some chocolate is hidden there too. The taste how ever is extreamly hoppy and i don’t think it goes together with the vanilla. Gonna let my age and see if i can kill off some hopps.

On tap. Pours with a black body and a fading tan head. Some legs left upon swirling. Aromas are vinous, raisins, big, chocolate, nougat. Really sweet aromas. Some chocolate. Flavors are sweet and lightly smokey with raisins and chocolate. Viscous with really light carbonation. Warming. Tasty.

Strong aroma of coffee. Abundance of vanilla in the flavor. This beer was loved by my beloved, and a guaranteed treat from Evil Twin.

A pretty nice stout. Chocolate and vanilla aromas is dominating but there is something artificial about the flavours. It’s also on the sweet side and doesn’t really come together.

A: The beer is nearly black in color with a small brown head that doesn’t have the greatest retention. S: Aroma is big time vanilla. Dominated by the vanilla with sweet chocolate. There is a bit of cherry and some roasted malt and cocoa powder. Mild licorice and a touch of molasses round things out. T: There’s a slight...funk to it that I can’t exactly describe. Lots of cherries and vanilla. Sweet chocolate with a little bit of roasted malt and coffee. There’s a hint of metal and a hint of booze. M: Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Fairly smooth on the tongue.

Purchased at systembolaget in Uppsala sometime in the middle of June, 2011. Overall, this is a very flavorful stout and one that I will certainly buy again. Pours with a deep, dark brown color and a medium-sized beige head. The lacing is decent, but I’ve seen far better. The aroma is powerful: vanilla, dark chocolate, burnt malts and a hint of alcohol. It smells like a desert in a bottle. The mouth feel is creamy, although less so than expected. The is taste is bitter sweet: vanilla galore, dark chocolate, roasted coffee beans and booze. Wonderful with desert.
