COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English: This stout looks like soft dookie and some will say it smells and tastes like it too. If you like a thick, creamy and utterly vanillalicious stout you’ll like this one. If you don’t, get yourself something else instead.

Bottle. A black beer, with a large, frothy/fizzy, mostly lasting light brown head. The aroma is moderately to heavily malty (roasted grain, coffee, chocolate), lightly hoppy (grapefruit), with a strong note of vanilla and minor hints of berries and alcohol. The flavour is heavily sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium to full body, watery/creamy texture, lively carbonation, very long finish with moderate to heavy bitterness, moderately alcoholic. Maybe a bit ashy and slightly more sour than hoped, but apart this, it’s a nice beer, with good berry fruitiness and a nice mouthfeel.

500ml bottle. Pours deep chocolate brown out of the bottle and settles in completely black in the glass with a decent tan head that leaves great lacing on the way down to a thin cap. Aroma is really sweet, malted milk balls soaked in vanilla is best way to describe it. There are roasted chocolate malts but the vanilla is really dominant. There is also a light coffee presence and it’s a great nose overall. Taste is a little more bitter than the aroma with roasted espresso and bakers chocolate. There is some sweetness with plenty of vanilla but the sweetness is definitely less prevalent than in the aroma. The finish is bittersweet and roasty. The mouthfeel is excellent - super smooth with moderate body and soft carbonation. Velvety and dessert-like feel. This is my first Evil Twin beer and I’m impressed. The feel is fantastic and it drinks far below it’s 10+% abv. Solid. Looking forward to more from this brewer.

Tap at Rattle. Pours black with a brown head that laces a bit. Huge roasty aroma with coffee, smoke, and a bit of chocolate. Taste is more coffee and roasted malt, smooth and full bodied, a bit of vanilla, light alcohol. Chocolate on the finish. Very flavorful, a great imperial stout.

Bottle. Starless midnight pour with a thick, frothy mocha head. Roasted malt, vanilla, molasses, dark chocolate and dark, oily coffee beans in the aroma. Taste is big vanilla, dark coffee beans, bitter coffee, dark, bittersweet chocolate, roasted malt, bitter hops, molasses, and burnt oatmeal. Body is full with a dense, creamy carbonation and moderate stickiness. Light alcohol warmth in spots. Finishes with more roasted malt, vanilla, molasses, light licorice, dark chocolate, and bitter coffee.

Quite nice. Almost black with a small tan head. Aroma is rich with roasted malt and coffee... The vanilla is there but the coffee is what really comes through, it smells like an iced latte. Taste is similar, but the vanilla is more present, strong malt and coffee taste though. You can also feel the alcohol a lot more than in some imperials. Overall, however, a very enjoyable beer. It’s extreme in every way and that somehow works to balance it.

Lots and lots of roast, astringent even. Some balance of vanilla in the aroma, but an over the top roast bomb. Extremely nice conditioning, very fine bubbles and a lasting head. Aroma; roasted and black malts, slight chocolate, moderate vanilla. Flavor moderately sweet, highly bitter, some pine hops come through the roasted flavor onslaught. I liked it better than I thought I would. Did I mention the conditioning? It works with this stout, basically perfect. Thanks to Henrik for the bottle!

Kryddig, nästan lite julig doft, men även lite gräsig. Len smak, vanilj, diskreta rostade toner av malt och kaffe, även lite mjölkig.
