English: This stout looks like soft dookie and some will say it smells and tastes like it too. If you like a thick, creamy and utterly vanillalicious stout youíll like this one. If you donít, get yourself something else instead.

Bottle as "Soft DK". Pours black with a lacing thick diminishing medium tan head. Aroma is milk chocolate, fudge, raisin, coffee, lots of vanilla, dark sugar, hard roasted malts and a subtle notes of spruce. Taste is heavy sweet, moderate bitter and very light acidic. Body is medium, texture is viscous, carbonation is moderate. Finishes sweet with vanilla, but bitter and ashy in the late finish.

Expense-account-blowout of a pickup here! A 16.9 oz bottle will put you back about $13, but hey, Iím incredibly wealthy and who gives a shit. Oh speaking of, what a dumbass name for ANY food product! Soft Shit, yep, thatís going to be a winner?!? Once you get past the name and turbidity, this is a real nice sipper. It has high vanilla notes and quite malty--some bourbon pervades throughout. Probably not worth the price of entry, but a nice and expensive random pickup from my favorite bottle shoppe.

Pours dark with a sticky and dissipating foam head. The aroma has vanilla, cocoa, toasted malts, and slight smoke malt character. In the flavor I noticed vanilla, chocolate, mild bitterness, dry malt complexity. The finish had a dry smoked malt favor, bitterness, cocoa, and a yeast taste. Overall the beverage stands tall but is not very drinkable.

Alright, I donít think EvilTwin is a good, valuable contributor to the brewing industry, but here we go. Pours a thick black with a solid tan thick sheet of foam, leaves lots of lace. Smells immediately like vanilla and coffee with lots of toasted malts. Nice, sweet nose. As it breathes, a little too much CO2 is released and the nose goes through a sharp, chemical phase. Flavor is sweet and dark, lots of vanilla, some bits of mallow and nougat. Plenty of dark chocolate. Thick bodied with low carb and a dry, syrupy finish. Pretty good beer overall. I donít generally care for vanilla in my beer, but this is done well.

Iíd been looking for this for a while and I finally found one in the deep recesses of a packieís fridge section. Pours dark black with lacing that lingers. Super intense dark cocoa nose w/ some mint that is odd but becomes addicting as you drink it. Thinner body with a bitter mouthfeel that stays. Notes of anise, vanilla, and roasted nuts on the back of the palate. Tasty.
