English: This stout looks like soft dookie and some will say it smells and tastes like it too. If you like a thick, creamy and utterly vanillalicious stout youíll like this one. If you donít, get yourself something else instead.

This is a goat one of if not the best stout I have ever had. What it lacks in aroma and appearance it makes up ten fold in flavor. Pour is very dark with a weak tan low head. Aroma is very good malt, sweet, vanilla and coffee. Flavor is outrageous tons of sweet cream and vanilla you can taste vanilla bean ice cream in beer bad ass.

8/06/2011: The Evil Twin Soft Dookie Impy Vanilla Stout... Aroma: Minerally and cocoa; "dookie" for sure; tinge of chocolate and vanilla. Appearance: Deep, dark brown, opaque; reverse cascading brown head. Flavor: Dry, bitter dark chocolate; roasty; vanilla isnít ovrtly obviously, but there is a certain creaminess to this beer; mineral characteristic; alcohol is there, but doesnít show the full strength - Steveo is right, "the 10.4% is covered well by the dookie." Palate: Medium-bodied; smooth; good mouthfeel. Overall: Quite dry, but quite good; gets better as it warms.

22 fl. oz. bottle (10.4% ABV) shared by bigmmmartin. Thanks Mike! Rating #434 for this beer.

Pours black with a large tan head. Aroma literally smells like chocolate cookies. Milk chocolate, vanilla, light roasted malt and cocoa. More vanilla as a flavour along with cocoa, roasted malt and a fair whack of residual sweetness. Gets a little cloying later. Could use higher carbonation.

Pours an opaque dark brown with large medium brown head that slowly settles but sticks around leaving a bit of lace up the glass. Aroma is chocolate, vanilla, roasted malts, slight alcohol, and hints of roasted coffee beans. Flavour is chocolate, mildly bitter roasted malts even some slightly burnt notes, warming alcohol vanilla, some dark dried fruits and some coffee like dryness. Loving me some evil twin tonight.

Pours an opaque black with a frothy, lacey light brown head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, light alcohol and some roasted malts. Taste is chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla and some sweet dried fruits. Mouthfeel is thick and creamy with some alcohol warmth, excellent dessert beer.

500 ml bottle. Pours black with a small head that quickly fades to a ring. Sweet aroma, smells kinda like chocolate cake and cookies. Definitely some roasted coffee in there too. Taste is moderately sweet up front with lots of vanilla and chocolate and finishes mildly bitter with light roasted coffee. Not complex but very easy to drink. Thin body, goes down way too easy. Overall, solid and easy to drink at over 10% abv but is way too thin.

Aromas of cold biscuit with cookie onslaught from all directions. The brown sugar, fine wheat toast and vanilla all show up on the nose making it a more tame presentation than the usual richly roasted ale. The flavor is to be split between the intro and conclusion with this beer more so than most that Iíve had. The beginning is nuanced for sure with only a bit of hazelnut and slight toffee coming through. Once this thing moves towards the back of your mouth an ashy hyper roast comes through and reminds me just of an americano coffee blend with the intensity. The mouthfeel is pretty much fantastic as itís balance of silk, heft and carbonation make for an easy 11 ounce pour to turn into the whole stinking bomber. Ashyness is overwhelming for me but otherwise very nice. Thank you evil twin. 2013 bomber.
