Bottle@home. One finger nougat brown foam. Sweet chocolate, licorice aroma. Smooth gentle sweet taste dry finish. Like it cool. When it warms up it get a bit sickly.

Bottle bought at Barleywine shop, Copenhagen, Denmark. It was labelled ’Soft DK’. A black coloured pour with a small tan head on top. Rich sweet aroma of vanilla and creamy chocolate. Tastes of vanilla, rich milk chocolate, sweet, slight coffee in there. Delicious Imperial Stout.

Bottled, thanks to caesar for sharing, Soft DK version. Black appearance, small brown head. Vanilla nose, malts, chocolate. Massive vanilla flavor, cloying, other flavors are pushed away. Alcoholic. No balance whatsoever. A failed experiment imho.

Paired with a porter infused aged cheddar. Was delicious, a nice change of pace from the burnt chocolate/coffee notes of a lot of imperial stouts. Strong, complex and smooth

Really thick, mouthfilling and complex beer. Well balanced. Not easy beer, still wonderful.

500 ml bottle (Soft DK).
Dark beer with a tan head and some lacing.
Sweet aroma with lots of (light) chocolate and smoke and a hint of vanilla.
Medium to full body, creamy with nice medium carbonation and a long and a very dry bitter finish.
Lots of chocolate in the flavor too, with a mix of vanilla, roast, toffee and coffee.
Sweet but not overwhelmingly so, good complexity, very nice but not great.

Tap. Pours opaque deep brown to black with a small tan head and good lacing. Aroma is chocolate liquor, vanilla, espresso. Flavor is milk chocolate, a bit of anise, medium sweet, lightly coffee bitter. Medium body, but not as creamy as I expected. Not a huge fan of anise in my stouts.

Pours pitch black with medium to high light brown head. Aroma is chocolate, syrup, finnish mämmi, some vanilla tobacco and coffee. Flavor is mostly same. A bit bitter though.

Smell of caramel, toffee, chocolate. Black colour, mid-brown creamy head. A myriad of aromas: chocolate, vanilla, pepper, licorice, soot. Sweet and medium bitter.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Black pour with a small tan head which quickly disappears. Nose is very sweet and full of milk chocolate. Loads of vanilla like the name suggests. Tastes just like white chocolate. Sweetness is a bit sharp to begin with but mellows out once your palate gets used to it. Good stuff
