3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
50 cl bottle. Almost black with brownish foam that didn’t stay that long. First sip was a vanilla explosion in my mouth, but after a few sips the alcohol was a bit over powering. Hints of licorice and spirits. This beer had probably earned on being a few % less strong. The general flavour, however, was really good, but not excellent.

Thanks to anders37 for this bottle
This pours a nice black color with a generous head. The flavor has notes of vanilla, licorice and chocolate. On the palate it’s a touch oily and has noticeable hop flavor in the finish.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottled. Pours almost black with a brown glow and with an average sized creamy, beige head. Good lacings. Nose of toasted malts, vanilla and coffee. Flat carbonation. Medium sweet flavour with vanilla, dark coffee, chocolate and dark fruit notes. Full bodied. Oily texture. Ends up more dry, slightly bitter and with the alcohol well hidden. An enjoyable brew but it will probably develope with some storage.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draught @ Pikkulintu, Helsinki
Great imperial stout without the typical roastness. A bit sweet taste has hints of vanilla and coffee. Well balanced, but palate isn’t that good.
