English: This stout looks like soft dookie and some will say it smells and tastes like it too. If you like a thick, creamy and utterly vanillalicious stout you’ll like this one. If you don’t, get yourself something else instead.

This was too good a deal to pass up so I ordered some while hanging out with others and playing some pool. It was so good I almost wanted to open the ones I had picked up as soon as I got home and finish up the set. Evil Twin is definitely on my radar for the short term now.

Aroma / Appearance - Oily black like the slicks of grease from a wet road the body snakes its way around the glass. Black coffee, ash, and dry malts amp up the intensity despite not being the deepest and most complex imperial stout on the planet.

Flavor / Palate - Black coffee, plums, and anise bite at the back of throat immediately. Creamy like a mouthfeel of vanilla the transition to the dry smoky finish. One of those beers that is worth the price tag, even if you second guess it at the time, you owe it to yourself to treat your palate to at least one of their imperial stouts.

Bottle shared by jtclockwork at the willblake’s in NJ tasting, thanks James. Poured a full thick foamy beige head sitting over top a medium density black body. Aroma is slightly sharp alcohol blended with dark chocolate, pudding skins, vanilla extract, rum soaked cake. The body is medium to a touch thinner for the big ABV with average carbonation. Flavor of dry chocolate, bread, nutt shells, coccoa, vanilla candle wax. Was hoping for a bit more from this one but still solid.

Draft at Beer Revolution. It pours dark brown with a light brown head. The aroma is super chocolaty with some roast and vanilla. The flavor is the same. Lots of vanilla, chocolate and mocha latte. The finish is pretty ashy and roasted. The body was a bit thin for such a big beer. I liked this one though, kinda different.

Pours out black with a thin tan head. Aroma is of sweet chocolate, some light coffee, mild roast and a lingering vanilla sweetness. Taste is roast, light coffee, sweet chocolate, vanilla, some mild alcohol notes in there, but for the most part the ABV is well hidden.
