COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English: This stout looks like soft dookie and some will say it smells and tastes like it too. If you like a thick, creamy and utterly vanillalicious stout you’ll like this one. If you don’t, get yourself something else instead.

Bottle, bought @ Ølbutikken, Cph.
All black with a fine, frothy, staying, off-white head. Aroma has dark chocolate, cocoa, mild roasted malts, some sweetness, light vanilla. A hint of coffee as well. Medium carbonation, good creamy and light dry mouthfeel. Flavour has good roasted malts, mild astringency, a hint of blackberris. Warming and vinious. Good coffee notes dominate over dark chocolate. A very elegant Imperial Stout. I like the fact that is is actually quite lively, making it easy to discern specific flavours.

Black with a lasting tan head. Aroma of chocolate and licorice with a touch of spice. Sweet licorice flavour with spices and plums, and a touch of coffee in the finish

(Bottled) Very dark brown with a small, firm and beige head. Aroma of cookies and creme brulée, with a slight chili pepper hint and quite strong alcohol. Flavor is chili and cookies, with vanilla and grainy maltiness. Medium to full body, lowish carbonation. Unique, but way too spicy for daily consumption. 6536

Dark beer with light brown head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla ice cream and roasted malts. Bitter and sweet. Coffee flavour is definitely there and so is some vanilla. Does a very good job at what it is apparently supposed to do. The bitterness in the aftertaste just pours on through. Very enjoyable.

50 cl bottle from Ølbutikken in Copenhagen. When poured it turns out very nice with a deep black body with a nice thick cappochino coloured head. The nose is filled with roasted malts, some caramel, vanilla, coffee...and then again some roastyness. The taste is very bitter with a clear vanilla-chocolate profile that hand in hand with the bitterness walks far into the finish. You sense the alcohol and something metalic is on top. I cant help but thinking of the danish chocolate-bare "Yankee-bar" when having this. There are some similaritys in the taste. The body is not as thick as ecspected and has a medium palate with a tickeling alcohol profile together with a rather high carbnation level.

Bottle from Høkeren, Copenhagen. Pours jet black with a thick, caramel head, exactly how I like my stouts to look! :-) Aroma is vanilla, chocolate ice cream, mocha - kinda like a tiramisu or something. Interesting. Taste is also very ice-cream reminiscent: vanilla, sugar, milk, coffee, mocha, roasted malts. The vanilla is very present but never in the way of the overall balance. Very original. A good, sweet and strong imp stout; perfect for desserts of almost any kind.

A Sim rate (bottle at the Cad’s fast-as-you-can-drink tastng): Aroma is vanilla and sooooo creamily alcoholic. A bit of choc, but covered in a brandy cream. Never smelled anything so sweet & rich at the same time. Flavour is similar. It’s the old chocolate porn from Belgo. Rich chocolate dessert that quenches the thirst for an alcoholic nightcap. Great richness, great sharp vanilla finish. Love it!

Bottle@Rojo’s place. Thanks for sharing! Appearance: Pitch black with a beige head. Aroma: Chocolate, Vanilla, Hint of coffee, Roasted malts. Taste: Bitter chocolate, Vanilla, Roasted Malts, Hint of coffee. Palate: High bitterness with a pleasant aftertaste of vanilla. Medium carbonation. I wish this would have been made into a dessert-stout instead. Ie, less hops and a bit more body. Still, an interesting brew and it’ll probably suit my palate a bit better after aging it for a year.
