English: This stout looks like soft dookie and some will say it smells and tastes like it too. If you like a thick, creamy and utterly vanillalicious stout you’ll like this one. If you don’t, get yourself something else instead.

It seems like Evil Twin only makes polarizing Imperial Stouts. Huge behemoths where the booze practically screams at you or gentle giants that could fool you. Soft Dookie, or as my bottle reads "Soft DK," is one of the most approachable Imperial Stouts you’ll ever meet. The "Soft" part of the name is well-deserved. Black pour with a slow-rising pillowy brown head. Roasted malt and syrupy (chocolate, molasses) aromas. Flavor profile is more on the sweet side yet highly balanced. Licorice, chocolate, vanilla, cream, and molasses. A hint of coffee and more than a hint of booze in this 10.4% brew. It’s definitely rich and full-bodied, but it’s extremely easy-going for an unaged Imperial Stout. It’s sweet, yet it wouldn’t be confused for a Sweet Stout. Very nicely done.

Sampled from tap at ’Beertemple’. Pitch black with a medium large, creamy, light brown head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of milk chocolate, milk coffee, hazelnut and some vanilla. Sweet-malty, slighly roasty taste of milk chocolate, milk coffee, hazelnut and som vanilla, followed by a medium long, moderately roasty-bitter finish. Full body, creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation.
