English: This stout looks like soft dookie and some will say it smells and tastes like it too. If you like a thick, creamy and utterly vanillalicious stout you’ll like this one. If you don’t, get yourself something else instead.

Dark and lovely, as good an Imperial Stout as I can remember (maybe that’s a problem). Awfully tasty with no significant flaws.

Nice stout bout would not buy again. Higher carbonation, vanilla, lacking body, and uneven

Labelled as Soft DK with a label not quite as cool as the label listed. At cellar temperature and into a snifter as the mercury drops close to zero here. it looks good; inky black with creamy tannish dollop atop that holds and aces well. Peaty, earthy, topsoil dominated nose. There is a hefty boozy spice in there, it’s nit shy about that. Burnt raisins, muscatels, red lumber, vanilla, hazelnuts; and interesting aroma all around. Thick, rich, velvety and smooth on the palate. Lots of alcohol butt no burn; melded with woody, earthy and tarrish notes, savoury fruit mince, peppery spice and light umami meatiness. Remains on the drier side throughout. Bitter spice in the length; not much else there sadly. Not full on in flavour, in fact it is quite subdued. It is easy to drink but just a little moorish to be savoured. I can’t say it hits like its 10.4% ABV, be it a little on the timid side, but it is a nice stout none the less! BOSSbrewer (2522) - Arkansas, USA - MAY 28, 2015
Bottle (of Soft DK version) at home. Pours very dark brown with two fingers of mocha head that dissipates quickly - head looked like a cola head. Aroma is dark chocolate and slight vanilla. Flavor follows with lots of dark chocolate and some slight dark fruit. Very sweet beer. Much too sweet. There was also a metallic taste on the finish. Not terribly enjoyable, but drinkable.

Great black colour and great brown head, doesn’t hold for too long, but leaves a ring. There’s a strong smell just opening the bottle, I wouldn’t say dookie, more like used diapers. Then chocolate, dark fruits (raisins, plums), vanilla...Medium body, creamy and sticky palate. Taste of chocolate, dark fruits, mollasses, vanilla... Very complex great beer.

Bottle labeled as "Soft DK". Pours a deep black with thin ring of tan brown head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of big roast and dark chocolate over sweet vanilla hints. Taste follows, a bit of earth and tobacco and less of the vanilla until it heats up. Warming booze as it goes down, thick mouth, soft carbonation.

Bottle from Rays. Black pour with a brown head leaving nice lace. Aroma has molasses, caramel, some roast and some chocolate. No diaper ever smelled like that ... Taste is of sweet caramel, sweet molasses, roast, and cocoa. Medium to full bodied with some alcohol presence. Finishes fairly long and much more sweet than bitter, but with just enough bitterness to stop it from being cloying. More roast would have made this stellar. 14.4

EtTuCthulhu (1329) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - MAY 18, 2015
The beer pours a viscous reddish black color with a small tan head that fades quickly to a ring. The aroma blends coffee beans, dark chocolate, caramel and chocolate malts, booze, and a hint of vanilla. The taste is mildly bitter, mildly umami, and a touch sweet, and the major flavor is mocha, which lingers for a long-lasting aftertaste. The palate, unfortunately, has a thin texture and a medium body, which doesn’t quite match the flavor.
