English: This stout looks like soft dookie and some will say it smells and tastes like it too. If you like a thick, creamy and utterly vanillalicious stout you’ll like this one. If you don’t, get yourself something else instead.

Very little smell. Dark, but still translucent. No head. Intense taste of burnt barley and smoke. In other words AWESOME taste! Thin and smokey in the mouth. All over: shockingly intense taste to be so odorless and thin. A very good beer, but not as good as I’m excpecting from mr. evil twin

Pours black with a minimal tan head. Coffee, vanilla, banana, treacle... brown sugar... thick but easy drinking... chocolate and dried fruit. Smooth and rich, but not cloying. Really good.

Bottle at home. Sweet and rich with a lot of vanilla. Coffee, chocolate, dark fruit and banana. This beer is pretty awesome. The Duke of Edinburgh needs Soft DK and chill.

Bottle at Hair of the Dog Bangkok. Pours black, smells of dark chocolate a bit of vanilla. Taste of chocolate, liquorice and a little bit if soy sauce. I was expecting it to be thicker. But for a 10% stout it was very drinkable. I'll drink it again. The

Bottle. Rich roasted malt aroma with dark chocolate, molasses and vanilla. Pours deep, inky, black with a thin light brown head with little retention or lacing. Starts with rich roasted malt and sweet chocolate with a full body and viscous mouthfeel. Finishes wonderfully smooth with excellent vanilla and some molasses flavors as well. Yet another excellent stout from Evil Twin!

UPDATED: JUL 8, 2015 One bad mutha of an imperial stout, this Dookie is tha shizz. Black as night, thick and burly, Dookie may have a playful name, but she ain’t playin’. Dark chocolaty with pernicious roast, and a long semi-sweet finish. Creamy and thick with a deep alcoholic tail that is tamed by a lift of bittering hops on the end. This one is a real treat. You’re not worthy.
