COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Perhaps you heard of a worldwide beer-movement that tributes favorite hipster neighbourhoods across the globe. First came Istedgade, then Södermalm followed by Williamsburg and Shoreditch accompanied by Trastevere & El Raval. This Hipster ale was aged for 4 months on white wine barrels and then dryhopped with Citra, Summit, & Cascade – perfect as a tribute to our favorite up-and-coming Hipster neighborhood, Sønderho, DK. Cheers to picture-perfect white sandy beaches, the Wadden Sea, and thatched-roof homes. Beware first movers!

This is a very unquie beer that pours medium amber with a small white head. Aroma screams sour beer then you taste it and find a hop presents that you did not see coming.

Bottle. An unclear, dark golden beer topped by a dense, off-white head of moderate size. The aroma is lightly funky, with some barnyard. Canned peaches and some woody notes. Some acidity in the flavor, with a touch of wood and lemon peel. Dried fruits too. Full body, pleasant carbonation and it’s quite dry. Lasting finish with a little sourness and acidity. Dried fruits and some bitterness. A bit unusual sour ale, but it’s nice anyway. 140717

Bottle 330ml @ geokkjer
Pours hazy orange and amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, red berries, yeast and vinegar. Taste is light to medium sweet and light sour and light bitter with a long fruity, berry, slightly vinegar finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. Pours cloudy golden with an off-white head. Aroma of funk, malt, some spices and caramel. Flavor is sweet and funky with some malt, sour grapes, grapefruits and white wine. Medium body, average carbonation.

ET does it again, I’m gonna turn into a homer for these guys. Pour was hazy golden in color, nice generous white head, just short of pillowy. Aroma of brett, leather, citrus, lighter fruits (apples, white grapes). Flavor followed and included firm bitterness, acidity, oak, tropical fruits (pineapples?), and tart finish. Mouthfeel was moderate to full with strong carbonation. Nice stuff. Up there with anything Russian River, etc...

330ml bottle from Saveur Biere.

Sour aroma and taste, some apple too. This is OK beer but not remind APA, reminds more sour ale.

Bottle @ The Rose Bowl, thanks to GT. Hazed orange pour with a white head. Aromas of tart citrus zest (lemon and lime), green apple, and pineapple. Some white wine, a touch of pepper, and light wood. Flavor is pleasantly tart. Good acidic citrus character. Lots of lemon, lime, and a bit of sour orange. Mild pepper, some oak, and a nice dose of wine. A touch leathery on the back end.

Short: A Brett IPA that should go under Sour/Wild Ale but as an APA suspiciously scores in the Top 50 for style

Origin: El Cerrito Size: 12oz, 4oz sample Price: $13 Date: 1/6/2014
Long: Clear golden pour with medium foam. Explosive fresh Brett nose with flowers and fresh orange. Taste is dry, tannic, fresh orange juice, bitter, nice lemon verbena and grapefruit juice citric. Bitter, dry, fairly woody finish. Has some similarities to Anchorage AK Alive, Orval, Anchorage Invasion IPA.
Flaws: Wrong style category, pricey
Skill Level: Successful

Wow! Clody golden. Aroma of green apples, grapes and white wine. Taste is tart: green apples, oak, white wine and lemon. Really good.
