Perhaps you heard of a worldwide beer-movement that tributes favorite hipster neighbourhoods across the globe. First came Istedgade, then Södermalm followed by Williamsburg and Shoreditch accompanied by Trastevere & El Raval. This Hipster ale was aged for 4 months on white wine barrels and then dryhopped with Citra, Summit, & Cascade – perfect as a tribute to our favorite up-and-coming Hipster neighborhood, Sønderho, DK. Cheers to picture-perfect white sandy beaches, the Wadden Sea, and thatched-roof homes. Beware first movers!

Hazy amber beer, little off white head. Palate is soft and light and a little silky, mild fine carbonation. A really nice palate. Lovely tasty beer - mild citrus fruits, a little brett. Really nice fresh white wine grape and mild sourness. Mango, peach, orange, gooseberry and kiwi in latter half. Fabulous.

Bottle. Somewhat hazy apricot color with an ok offwhite head. Yeasty wine aroma, grapes, citrus, woody notes, perfume notes, funky rubber notes, caramel notes, hay, dandelions. Woody floral flavor, hoppy, grassy, perfume, citrus, grapefruit, dandelions, rubber, yeasty, some perfume. A bit rough, but rather interesting. Floral finish with grapefruit, rubber and some yeast.

Pours peach in color and is slightly murky with a crisp white head. The aroma brings the wine barrels, slightly sweet and some wild yeast. The flavor brings big notes of the white wine and yeast as well dominating, juicy at first but with a dry, pleasant ending.

355ml bottle from Cotteridge Wines.Hazy copper coloured pour with decent sized off white head.Lovely lambic style aroma with white wine and citrus in there too.Taste just as aroma suggests with a little wood.Sour, balanced and complex with more hops becoming apparent after a few more sips and a little sweetness hidden in there too.Delicious sipping beer.

Bottle. Amber with white head. Massive funky lambic style aroma, sharp white wine with citrus hops. Sharp funky white wine taste, citrus hops shine through as well. Sour but medium bodied. Doesn’t say anywhere that this is meant to be sour but it’s delicious.

Delikat!

Smells like old white wine, sour. Hazy and gold with a fine white head. First taste is sour wine, but then the hops kick in and brings the beer to life. A pleasant and interesting experience, but a bit too sour for my palate. Don't get me wrong, I like it, I just can't drink a lot of it:) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
