3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Valkendorfsgate, Bergen. Pours a slightly hazy bubbly straw-hued orange body with a tiny off-white head. Aroma is extremely fruity and inviting: citrus peel, grapes, wood, kiwi, oranges, hints of pine, red berries and white wine. Delicious. Taste follows up, with
fresh citric tones up front, then wood, caramel, green grapes, apple peel, kiwi, white wine and tart herbal-like hints of nutmeg and lime. Very pleasant and rather original, although the high complexity tends to affect the drinkability a bit; this offers way more resistance than a regular APA. Nevertheless, a medium palate with enough freshness and moderate carbonation sort of does the thing anyway. An amazingly fruity and complex pale ale.

Botella.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Whew aroma is aggressive musty green apple, obvious citrus hops and white wine influence. Glowing deep honey with off white head that falls to a strong ring. There is a nice white wine acidity with the aforementioned green apple expression as well as good bitterness and citrus. Really great beer.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
33 cl bottle. Hazy, copper colour with a medium sized creamy, white head. Complex, vinous aroma with bretts, hops, light malts, some wood, citrus and grapefruit. Light sour taste. Medium body, creamy texture and a good carbonation. Long lasting, vinous finish with a good bitterness and more bretts. Excellent beer, pushes the limits for an APA.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
33 cl bottle.
Pours hazy amber color with a huge and quite beautiful frothy head. Surprisingly farmhouse-dominant aroma, arpicot, yeast, some hops, goose berry bush and mild grass. Some funky tones appear as the beer warms up a bit. Flavor of apricot, lemon and some other citrus fruits, mild white wine notes, brett-like yeast, faint spice notes and some toffee. Sourish and a bit vinegarish palate with a sour fruity finish. Quite unexpected.
