4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This was a nice beer with a good aroma, good dark color, small head, a nice mouth-feel, modestly complex and malty with a bit of sweetness.
This beer would have been simply killer if it would have been barrel aged in bourbon barrels for a year. Alas, the Europeans are very slow to catch on and it may be a decade or never for them to understand that barrel aging makes better beer. That’s why the brewers in the USA are the best. They don’t stop with "good enough" because capitalism demands excellence or you go out of business. Europeans due to their socialistic ways will always brew decent beer but it will never compare with the innovation we have here in the USA.

Brown-black color. Smells ok, taste is a bit sour. Yep, this is inadvertently sour. All sorts of fail.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle of 330 ml. With certain aroma of coffee and sweet notes. Foam very shallow and of short duration. The palate is somewhat complicated starting with a sweetness turns to bitterness that persists and increases the more beer tempers. With a medium body makes me end excessive alcohol aftertaste.
