3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma: Kinda reminds me of the lighter smoke profile found in Schlenkerla Eiche- Dry, oaky smoke, light ointment with a little lemongrass. Appearance: Light, unfiltered copper pour with a small white head that fades into a skin. Flavor: Dry smoked malts up front with a little lemon; lemon comes out a bit more towards the finish to quench the dryness, but eventually terminates in a lightly bitter manner. Palate: Light body, sticky texture, very soft carbonation, bitter finish. Overall: Interesting stuff; the leaner smoked profile makes this perhaps an ideal beer to introduce smoked beers. Still, the enthusiast can appreciate it as well.

3.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours out a cloudy, light golden color with a small white head. Aroma is of burnt wood, complex woodsy sweetness, smoked BBQ, light grains. Taste is smoked BBQ, sweet wood, light bitterness, some grains, more sweet, but delicate smoke. this is really tasty.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Looks like an artisanal pilsner, smells like there’s a little smoke there, and in the flavor there’s something going on but it isn’t pronounced enough to really say "smoke". Light sausage flavor. Most of the bottle was contributed to a batch of chili, and I think that’s the appropriate result here. Bottle.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours clear yellow with a small creamy white head that quickly diminishes to a thin ring and leaves some lacing. Pilsner hops in the aroma, some pine, bubblegum?! but no smoke. Lightly bitter, medium body, fine bubbles in a lively carbo, creamy texture and a smooth, lingering lightly bitter finish. Where’s the smoke?

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle at home. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a thin persistent white head. Aroma is hoppy with some citrus, mainly grapefruit. Slight smoke but not much. On the flavor there is more smoke and some maltiness. Very light bodied and thin. Drinkable but nothing special.

Hopefully I’m wrong because this shit is expensive.
A: Dark hazy gold with a small but well retained white head. Good lacing. Lazy carbonation and visible sediment.
S: Earthy floral hops on the nose. Subtle hints of smoke and stale white bread.
T: Hoppy and sort of sour. Slightly more noticeable smokiness in the taste is well incorporated. Well balance overall, finishing bitter. The hops are pleasantly prominent.
M: Medium bodied with a wet oily medium length finish. Below average but appropriate level of carbonation felt.
O: Took a while to decide but I do like this. Well executed smoked pilsner. Probably will not purchase again though simply because it’s probably not good enough to justify the price or $12/4 pack (stupid-ass 4 packs). Recommended however.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pilsen mais alaranjada, turva. Espuma branca de pouca duração. Aroma discretamente defumado (como prediz o rótulo). Paladar intensifica o sabor defumado, assim como um leve amargor, dulçor inexistente. Aftertaste segue as linhas do paladar inicial. Bem equilibrada, sem cansar o paladar, típico de cervejas "rauch". Uma cerveja diferente, mas sem nenhum destaque em especial.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle pour clear avg gold with moderate white head. Nose crystal malt, bready malt, vague fruit sweet, and mild smoky peat. Taste definitely more prominent smoke flavors. The smoke doesn’t seem to have much to interact with as far as other flavors. Some crystal malt. Lightly bitter finish mixes with peat aftertaste. Interesting style but would like to see bigger flavors
