Only a beer so bold could pay tribute to the newest addition to the BTL REV pack. Call #holdsies on one before they are gone.

On tap at CBC 2014. Pours black with a medium beige head. Quite bitter with a light sweetness. Lots of pepper with notes of tobacco and hints of burnt malts. Medium bodied. Soft carbonation. Long hot finish.

Bottle. Pours black with a thin khaki head. Leaves trace lacing in the glass. Has a bit of roasted malt on the nose. Definitely get the habanero peppers on the tongue but they’re kind of faint. Finishes clean and hides its booze well. Solid for style though I was hoping the peppers were a little bigger.

From tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014. Black color with light beige head. Roasted malty aroma, chocolate, caramel, coffee, spicy, some smoked notes. Sweet and bitter taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

650 ml. Deep ebony with a huge sponge of foam on top. Smells of caramel, chocolate, whiskey and a hint of earthy spice. Front tastes of caramel and chocolate candy bar turn to whiskey and wood in the middle. Finish has a nice touch of earthy spice that dries the big malts well. The heat increases to a nice crescendo about halfway through the bottle. Medium body has low-medium carbonation and a very drinkable balance. Excellent dessert beer.

Bottle share! The Mini Dingo is a nice, mildly spiced up stout. Mostly chocolate in taste, but a faint hint of the pepper just tickles the back of the tonsils. Good intro to a pepper stout.

CBC 2014. Black with a lasting, light brown head. Aroma of milk chocolate and vanilla, and the sweet Danish candy "lakridskonfekt". Dry, roasted flavour with chili heat. Lacking in balance and harmony

bottle from Bruisin Ales, Asheville. Medium to fuller bodied black pour. Mainly dark roasted malts, habanero was present but far from dominate. Nice stout but it missed the mark for a pepper stout

Pours a thinish looking brown almost black with a sizable tan head. Aromas of chocolate, coffee and roast with just a hint of pepper/spice. Taste is spicy and semi dry. Holy shit is this thing spicy hot. Hot, hot heat, my brothers. Wowza. Spicy as all get out along with chocolate and roasted coffee. Some marshmallow. Spicy. My asshole is going to be burning tomorrow morning...

Serving: Bottle from Bottle Revolution. Almost black pour with a dark brown, frothy head. Somewhat unusual nose with slight burnt notes, roasted malt, a bit of roasted pepper, coffee, and earth. Despite the habanero, it’s only warming on the tongue with a slight pepper flavor coming out on the back end. Plenty of charred malt, coffee, and a slight earthy bitterness. Full body. I’m not a huge pepper beer fan, but this isn’t bad.

This poured a brown color with a beige head. Aroma was of deep roasted malt and peppers. Flavor was mild heat, ashy, dark chocolate.
