2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Sorry but there is some serious infection going on in this one. Waiters agreed as the taste was not similar to previous days, our guess is that the the ’new keg’ went bad (unlikely) or that the good folks who own Delirium cannot invest in a keg fridge, therefore leaving good kegs to sit in a hot August furnace with the yeast effects that follow. A shame.

Dark color...thin body.
Nice roasted,coffee,choco aromas...with an easy drink-ability.
Too sweet at the end for me...and this ruins the whole thing.
Nothing I would drink again and again.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap at Brewdog Camden. It pours a mostly black colour with a medium brown head. Lasting foam. Aroma is dark chocolate, roasted cocoa beans, vanilla and roasted malts. Taste is similar, mostly sweet with cocoa and wood notes. Quite thick in body with good carbonation. Overall, very very tasty when considering the ABV. Nice one.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Very dark brown - almost black, small to average and fully diminishing dark brown head. Moderate, malty and sweetish aroma, roasted malt and some bread, some coffee and light chocolate. Body is light to medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, some roasted malt and light coffee, light sourness (orange juice). Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, some roasted malt and light coffee, faint chocolate and some sourness. Weird and bit thin stout - not for me.

Odense Catching Up on Stuff Left in the Cellar Event July 2012. Near black with a small off-white head. Toffee and caramel aroma with a touch of licorice. Dry roasted flavour with quite a bit of orange peel, and some tartness that could be citrus or dark malt.
