COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Somewhere between sense and sensibility this Wit was made with wonderful wit of wisdom and wag. Fresh as a daisy, bitter to the end and twisted with kiwi hops & American reason. Perhaps you’ll find it more ingenious than funny, consider that mission accomplished. As we say – better at witty wit than a wit witty.

Golden and hazy with a nice cloudy head. Aroma of the classic ingredients orangepeel and koriander, but also with hints of honey and the yeast. Tastes slightly sweet at first but is fast subdued bu the hops. Some yeasty notes in the middle, before the hops takes over again. Different and good! Medium body and abit above avg carbonation.

Bottle. It’s a hazy, orange-golden beer topped by a small, off-white head. The aroma has quite a lot of piney hops, with a faint spiced touch and some citrusy hints. Rather bitter flavor, with citrus peel, some spiced notes and pine cones. Dry on the palate, medium body. Lasting spiced and bitter finish. Not really sure about this one. I iike it in a way, but it has something strange going on. Sort of refreshing. 130420

Bottle @ home, courtesy of jcnielsen. Thanks brah! Pours a nice, cloudy, glowing yellow orange appearance with an off white head. At first, there’s a bit of a bready, dullness to the aroma but honestly, a closer look and you get lots of spicy yeast, bright citrus, and potpourri notes. Mouth feel is soft, maybe a touch goopy. Spicy, floral yeasty, big lime/tropical fruity, a bit bready, slightly bitter herbal flavor. Kind of an interesting beer that really shows potential. Not sure if this bottle is just a bit dated or they just need to dial in their formula a bit, but I could see really enjoying this with some tweaks.

Bottle at a ChrisO Tasting - London. Pours cloudy gold with a medium foamy white head. Nice wheaty and yeasty nose, faint poo and hay. Great flavor, quite bitter, medium sweet, lots of citrus rind, lemon, white sugar and wheat. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Nicely drying to finish with more citrus rind, wheat, faint manure, light grass. Excellent balance. Great bitter aspect for a witbier.
