COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s note: made for "The Trappist" in Oakland, CA.
The 8% ABV on the label is a misprint.

Draught, KØ11. Mild hoppy aroma. Cloudy dark chestnut colour. Small tan head. The flavour is hoppy. Has a little astringency in the finish. Quite uncomplicated.

Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2011. Cloudy nut brown, creamy head. Immense citric tangerine aroma. Feels almost thin, malt is there only to support hops it seems, it doesn’t really conbtribute with much flavour. The hops on the other hand are extrevagant with all kinds of citrus and tropcial fruits. Long really bitter finish.

Tap @ Ølfestival, 2011.
Muddy pale drey-brown with a nice, staying, creamy, beige head. Aroma is sweet, Belgian sugar, chocolate and fresh peachy hops. Medium carbonation, a bit light and fair dry mouthfeel. Flavour is mild, still a bit weird mix of IPA and Belgian dubbel. Peachy, chocolate, molasses, light yeast. Very dry in the finish. Not completely succesful.

Sampled @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011: Pours a cloudy light murky brown body with a nice creamy everlasting beige head. Aroma is low with hints of citrus, pale malts, espresso and some ripe fruits. Really nice mouthfeeling: Velvety and creamy with average carbonation and it’s quite full-bodied. Nice and grassy hopped with some some light fruits, caramel and citrus. Also notes of thin yeast in the finish. A solid beer indeed. Want more of this!

Fad: Brun uklar øl med et fint skumhoved. Duft af amarillo. Meget klar bitter ikke så klar brown. Mangler lidt karamel for at være klassisk brown, tilgengæld er der en dejlig grøn urt, grøn mynthe i smagen.

UPDATED: MAR 8, 2012 Tap, Beer Festival 2011, Cph: Cloudy, murky brown with a nice beige head. Smells like smooth coffee, roasted malts, grass, resin and grapefruit. The taste is well balanced and semi-sweet with notes of mandarin, peach, grapefruit and soft coffee. Medium body, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. A really delicious beer!
