Bottle. Dark brown with spotty bubbles on the surface. Woody and sour with balsamic vinegar, tart fruit, and leather. Taste is sweet-sour with balsamic vinegar, tart fruit, wet leather, light earthiness and damp wood. Body is light, slightly acidic with mild dryness and faint carbonation. Ends with more wet woody notes, vinegar (salad dressing), wet leather, tart cherry, and soft earthy notes.

From bottle at RBESG Grand Tasting, held at Dean Swift, on 7 August 2011. Dark brown colour. A bit murky but the bottle had been round the table so that’s understandable. Some toasty and caramel malt in the aroma and moderate brett and sour fruit. Much more sour on the palate. Quite a lot of sweetness in the mouthfeel. Interesting but the sweet and sour feel wasn’t really entirely to my taste.

(500ml bottle) Pours a clear amber body with a small off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, caramel, and burnt toast. Flavor of caramel, light burnt bread, plum, cherry, berries, brett, and lacto.

500 ml bottle. Clear, deep amber body with a small, disappearing beige head. Aroma is fruity, malty and slightly acidic. Flavor is a bit unusually combination of Bret. Fruity, acidic, malt and balsamic/vinegar. Interesting but not particular smashing.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Hazy red color with a beige head. Sour fruity aroma, a bit weird, with some earth and sauerkraut. Sour flavor with malt, fruits, caramel and earth. Medium-bodied. Quite nice.

Pours dark copper with a beige head. Aroma is sour, caramel, light vinegar, light flower and light spice. Flavour is sour, vinegar, acidic, grapefruit and light pepper.

Bottle thanks to bhensonb. Poured ruby with an off white head. Aroma and flavor were grape, raisin, slight chocolate, fingernail polish, and a nice pleasant sourness. Body was medium with soft carbonation.

Cloudy, murky brown. Flat. Aroma of sour chocolate, orange-lemon, milk, café au lait. Radically sour flavor, with chocolate and wood. Really interesting, though maybe not all that tasty.

Bottle. Aroma is . Flavour is balsamic vinegar, brett, barn.Flavour is moderately sour, but very long lingering. Balsamico, wood, funky barn. Okay.

Lleugerament fosca i d’aroma avinagrada. Carbònic ben integrat, poca retenció d’escuma. Cervesa agre amb notes vinoses. Agradable sour.
