COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Copper colour and a thick white head. The aroma is a mix of sweet malts, almost like chocolate, and fruit. Some bitterness but also sweet. Lot of alchohol. Overall. 14/20

Hazy copper pour with white head and a good amount of sediment. Aroma is corn bread, earthy and medicinal hops, candied grapefruit. Full bodied. Punch of citrus bitterness that lingers and doesn’t get cut out by any sweetness. Herbal, piney finish. Extreme bitter, not overly enjoyable.

12oz bottle. Pours an amber gold, somewhat hazy, big off white head, soapy lacing on the glass. Typical American DIPA aroma of grapefruit, citrus, some caramel malt. Same as the taste with some chalkiness and more of a malt profile than originally expected but still a hop bomb. Finish is long and bitter. More balanced than some of the DIPA, but very enjoyable as a hophead.

Smells of more malt and honey than hops. Very pleasant, sweet, non-aggressive aroma. Hazy light golden color with a big, bubbly, sticky white head. Taste is also not as aggressive as one would expect. Malt and honey up front with the only hop bitterness coming through in the aftertaste. 10% ABV is extremely well hidden. Palate is slick yet bubbly, it goes down smooth but reminds you that your’e drinking an Imperial IPA. I loved this, I must admit that I liked it even more than the Yin & Yang mixture. I’m glad I bought 4 of these rather than buying the single bottles just to mix. Very very drinkable DIPA. Highly recommend.

A golden Dipa with a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with floral hops, resinous and floral hops, very nice. In mouth, a nice fruity caramel malt with smooth floral hops, citrus pulp, alcohol warmth, grapefruit pulp, very nice. On tap at Torst.

Pours a slightly cloudy lighter amber colour with a medium off white head. Aroma is of floral and citrus hops with some grapefruit and noticeable caramel malts. Taste is a little sweet initially but is quickly overtaken by a strong bitterness. Medium body, lively carbonation, and creamy on the palate. Overall very good.

Pours a slightly cloudy copper with a creamy one finger head with good retention and moderate spotty lacing. Nose is sweet malt, tropical fruit and piney hops. Taste leads out moderately to strongly sweet leading to moderate bitter, finishing with nicely balanced bitter and sweet. Medium bodied and slightly creamy, with moderate sustained carbonation and a slight warming. A little more malty than I prefer my DIPAs, but a solid performer regardless. A nice balance of malt and hops on the finish makes up to some extent for the malt forward nose. Not world-class, perhaps, but definitely very good.
