Overall good IPA but not much fruit or citrus on the backend. Picked up a little orange and lemon but didn’t follow through like I’d prefer.

I was excited to try this one but left with an experience not so great. What is up with the metallic aftertaste? Smells great, tastes not so great

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Hazy amber, with lumps. Filmy, sticky, white head. Overripe oranges. Brown sugar. Hint of banana. Taste has pineapple, fudgy, sweetness, for all of a few seconds, before the huge, enveloping, bitterness kicks in. And stays. And then some. And some more.

Malty aroma with some orange. Hardly any hops, too old?
Clear amber colour beige head
Taste is to caramelly. Really nice intense bitterness that has spicy notes and is long lasting
Light to medium body, dry texture lively carbonation
Had it just been fresher I’m sure it would have been really nice. My bottle was from 7/11-13 and drunk on 19/4-14 which is way to old for an IIPA

bottle-poured cloudy copper color with thin white head. Aroma-citrus, lemon and grapefruit. Taste is citrus, pine and lemon. Has nice lingering aftertaste. Palate-medium body and average carbonation with dry finish. Overall - Very easy drinking IIPA. Tastes more like 6% than 10%. First beer from ET and like very much!!

Bottle. Aroma has caramel sweetness and quite strong hops, resiny, orange peel, citrusy. I get the Amarillo impression. Orangeish amber colour. Lightly hazy. Taste is aggressively hoppy right from the beginning. Grassy, citrusy. Quite overkilled. Very high bitterness. Long long dry grassy hoppy finish. After all still good, but not exactly a charmer.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 12/13/2013. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy deep orange copper color with a 2 finger fairly dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with some light streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, floral, grass, pine, caramel, biscuit, light toffee, and floral earthiness. Very nice aromas with good complexity of juicy citrus hops and nearly balanced malt sweetness; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, pineapple, orange peel, citrus rind, pine, floral, grass, caramel, biscuit, light toffee, and floral/grassy earthiness. Sizable pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, pineapple, citrus rind, pine resin, caramel, biscuit, light toffee, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity of juicy citrus/pine hops with moderate malt sweetness; with a very crisp malt/bitterness balance and some lightly cloying pine resin bitterness after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a lightly slick, crisp, and very sticky mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice DIPA. All around good complexity of citrus/pine hops and moderate malt sweetness; and very smooth and crisp to sip on for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.
