COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

on tap at pilsen’s 2011 xmas beer markets in cernice. burnt amber colour with light lacing; heady aroma of fresh pineapple, cat litter, mango, pawpaw; loads of tangy bitterness with hints of boiled lollies; pretty full-on, i felt like i could still taste it the next day

On tap @ Sidebar. Dark amber. Little head. Good lacing. Malty aroma. Malty taste. Brown sugar. A bit sweet, with bitter follow. Too malty for my liking. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from City Beer. Pours reddish copper with a citrus aroma and a thin beige head. There is a robust caramel malt flavor that starts sweet and finishes bitter and carbonated. Blends well with the Yin.

Aroma is sweet/syrupy malts, pine and a slight perfume quality. The flavor is very malty, nutty and and the hops make their presence in the finish. Maltier than I as expecting, this was almost like an ASA.

Bottle. An unclear, golden-orange beer wtih a small, dense, dark beige head. The aroma is citrusy and piney with generic fruityness and sugar. A touch of alcohol and peaches too. The flavor is a bit on the sweet side, but pleasant, with bitterness and hoppy flavors like citrus, pine cones and some peaches. Full-bodied and slightly warming, finishing with a lasting bitterness. Overall, really nice, but a bit on the sweet and warming side. 110930
