3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at home, picked up at Mile High. Pour is hazy amber with a big white head and great lacing. Heavy caramel, bready, grapefruity, orange peel, goopy, sweet malty aroma. Taste is much the same - kind of a malt bomb - with a heavy bitter grapefruit/orange peel aftertaste. Syrupy/goopy mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Another disappointing DIPA, from Evil Twin.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A slightly opaque medium amber hue with a white head that had good retention and no lace. Aroma had a strong hop presence, mostly resinous notes but there was some grapefruit, tropical fruits and a slight floral quality. Flavor had some nice sweet caramel malts upfront. Hops seemed to have more grapefruit than anything else. Finish was nice and dry. Moderate mouth feel.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle from Wilburs. Reddish amber and hazy with a sticky light tan head. The aroma is resinous hops, pine, citrus and tropical fruit, light alcohol and light toasted malts. Similar flavor with a medium body and a thin feel. Lightly sweet with a lingering bitter finish.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A very nice IIPA, citrus hops and alcohol dominating the flavor, with a good, long lasting flavor and full body.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Brewed by Evil Twin Brewing, Stratford, CT. Pours copper-amber with very thin light-tan head and light lacing. Aroma is sweet and syrupy, with a melange of hop characteristics (herbal, fruity) alongside caramel malt. Flavor is quite bitter upfront, resinous, piney...dominating semi-sweet caramel malt that cannot balance the bitterness. Bitter, astringent finish. Bitterness über alles.

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours hazy golden amber with white head. Aroma is cereal malts. Lots of big malty flavor with bitter pine hops. Don’t think i got this to terribly fresh, the malts take over the hops.Nice caramel malt profile though with lots of hoppy bitterness.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
It may be that it has been a while since having a DIPA but this was packing some serious bitterness. The malt didn’t do much to mask that either. Overall this was right on point with the style.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
I might have gotten to this bottle too late. But for sure a hop aroma and taste but mostly malt finish.
