330 ml bottle. Finland.
Cloudy amber colour with tiny off-white head. Darkish bitter hoppy aroma with resin and some sweetness. Dark strong bitterness, alcohol, strong maltiness and resin in flavour. Lots of alcohol warmth.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Hazy orange. Hoppy aroma of pine, resin and grapefruit. Flavor has some caramelly sweetness with fruits and a bitter hoppy finish with pine and grapefruit. Medium-bodied. Pretty nice.

Amber in color, clear with a thin head. Lots of hops in this beer Very hop forward in the flavor and finish. Very bitter too much for my liking. This was not a clean Pac NW brewers IIpa. nevertheless very tasty.

Clear amber body with a white head. Strong hoppy aroma with enough sweetness to balance the great pine bitterness. Great bitter flavour with some honey and grapefruit.

Deep malt with rounded good that are intense but semi sweet. Melon and malt dominated this beer. Alcohol really hidden. Super beer.

Bottle from Ølbutikken enjoyed at home
Deep red, finger thick beige head. Nice laces! Aroma of grapefruit, grass and citrus zests. Taste is malty with a touch of sweetness and hints of alcohol. Nice oily palate. Finish has intense fruity bitterness. Very nice beer but lose the match against brother Yin.
I also blended a 1/3 of the bottle with Evil Twin Yin, and i have to say that the blend was the best of the 3 tastings this evening

330ml bottle from Ølbutikken in Copenhagen. Brought back home and shared at a rating session with Finn. Pours a huge, dense off-white head with fine retention and good lace. Slightly hazy amber in body appearance. Inviting smell of fruity hops and honey sweetness. Rounded and well balanced flavour of semi-sweet malts and hoppy fruits with emphasis on the hoppy part. Lingering dry bitter ending. Full bodied. Distinctive and enjoyable (Tromsø, 13.10.2011).

11.2 oz bottle from Blue Dog. Poured a solid orange/dark amber under a full foamy light khaki head that fades but is quickly brought back to life with a wrist flick. Alcohol is very apparent in the aroma along with marmalade, citrus, burnt caramel, toffee and honey. Fuller bodied with not much biosphere which is surprising due to the heavy alcohol in the aroma. Average carbonation and a nice creamy mouthfeel. Flavor is sweeter than hoppy with notes of honey, caramel, toast, wax and light citrus. Good stuff overall but it seems as if the hops have faded some.

Tasted on draft at Local Option some time in mid-2011. Pours hazy orange-amber with a thick, off-white head that leaves rocky lace after a slow recession. The nose is an intense blend of bitter resin hops and burnt caramel malt, along with some burnt brown sugar. The flavor is sweet up front with burnt brown sugar and caramel, moving to the bitter resin hops, and more burnt bitterness. The body is nearly full, with average carbonation, and a long resin and burnt bitter finish.
