Reminds me of a lower-ABV Dogfish 120. Perhaps the darkest in color DIPA I've had. Taste is sweet and resiny, with a syrupy mouthfeel. Some fruit as well, and a modicum of bitterness. Tried alone and not as part of a Black and Tan with Yin from the same brewer. On its own, an unusual Imperial for sure, and quite unlike West Coast IPAs to which I'm more accustomed. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0,33 bottle. Dark amber color, beige head. Very hoppy, bitter taste with caramel, citrus, pine and some fruits. Smooth bitter finish with a hint of alcohol in it. Very tasty imperial IPA.

Pours dark, murky brown with a good white head. Nose is light resin, some honey, fruity smells. Not sure I like that much non citrus fruit smell in a double IPA. The taste is decent enough bitterness but there is a lot of sweet to go with it. The mouthfeel is sticky and heavy with a long finish.

Pours rust colored, like a rye ale, with an average head. The aroma is very sweet and strong. There’s a big, fruity kind of presence... pineapples, citrus, and pine hops. The flavor is sweet, too. The hops are there, but the sweetness is the strongest quality. All that citrus combines with caramel malt and bread. Not my favorite IPA but a very good one.

Kaatuu lasiin kuparinvärisenä ja tiiviillä keskikokoisella vaahdolla. Haju on puumaisen humaloitu, hieman käyneen hedelmäinen, kuiva, hieman tuhkainen, alkoholinen ja juokossa on häivähdys tuoretta hedelmää. Maku on käyneen hedelmäinen, lämmittävän alkoholinen, pihkainen, hieman marjainen ja havuinen. Suutuntuma on pehmeän katkera ja täyteläinen. Kokonaisuutena lämmittävä, mutta hieman tunkkainen iltamyssy.

A redbrown beer with a medium and blond head. Aroma is powerfull combination of fructose, fruits and sweetness together with piney and citrusfruity hoppyness. Sweetness is dominating. Also some tropical fruits, mangos and caramell. Taste is strong, quite sweet, caramell and some pine. Aftertaste is long, not so sweet anymore and also pine forest. Full bodied, not sticky. Powerfull beer, but too much of sweetness.

soft hoppy nose with tons of minerals, apples, oranges and caramel. Full bodied. Apples and caramel, think, but well balanced and alcohol is sooo well hidden for the avb. Moderate bitter finish.
