A rich amber color this beer takes you to a different tasting mode. After quaffing IPAs this one is a shock. A ton of malt is complemented by a sharp bitterness. Nothing is really jumping out at me in terms of uniqueness, just a big ole DIPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Frisco Tap House & Brewery in Columbia, MD. Hazy, dark amber-copper with a large pale khaki head and excellent lacing. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, orange, caramel, tropical fruit and grass. Taste of pine, grapefruit, orange, caramel, grass and light fruit. Medium/full body and medium/low carbonization with a delightfully smooth mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottled 3/12/13. Consumed 5/25/13. Pours medium-light brown with a thick vanilla custard head, which lasts. Aroma is great; pineapple, fruits (peach?), pine, caramel, bread. Smells like a pineapple pie. Taste is vanilla, pine, citrus, booze, some earth; finish is bitter fruit rind. Thick, dense lacing. Sticky mouth feel; medium bodied. Aggressive carbonation. Alcohol very well-hidden. Nice, memorable.

Dark reddish amber. Small frothy head with lots of lace. Aroma is very hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, pine, some caramel. Flavor is pungent bitter hops - pine, and grapefruit. Creamy and very bitter with a long pine finish. Unbalanced.

Very nice too. Quite hoppy and opposing to the other one but deep was the same signature brewery.

from a bottle, pretty cheap, 3.5$. rocky head. big aroma of fruity hops. impressive viscous looking beer. big nasty kick in the face for the first taste. beer continues to punch you in the teeth then follows thru with a warming effect all the way down the gullet. rude and nasty Nellie napalm. this is what double ipa should be, perhaps tripel ipa, wew. medicinal alky dizzying wew. finish is what else, roto tiller down the back of your throat. forget about tasting anything, this burned off the first layer of my taste buds, ruined for the night, wew. volatile bigg ass brew. not impressed by this in yer face box yer ears happy bullshit.

Nice dark malt color filled with citrus flavors. I really savored this beer. Balanced yet still hoppy. Wish i could be more deScriptive but i know i want it again. Has a molasses like sweetness melded with the hops.
