Bottle (from Brewdog.com, 330ml):
Tropical fruit aroma up front and closely followed by some pine and grapefruit with touches of citrus, orange and from right out of left field, a little caramel as well. Hops, spice and alcohol and closed out with some subtle malts.
Cloudy, bright orange to red colour with some sediment in the glass and a thin, wavy foam head.
Tropical fruits, apricot and orange mixed with a background alcohol taste and a lot of spice to begin with. There is a good hop character and lots of pine and grapefruit flavours along with some caramel and peach.
Full bodied and smooth with a nice alcohol burn and a fruity, sweet bitterness and creamy, slightly bitter finish and a good balance.

This one was an excellent beer with a lot of depth and character and ended up being a lot easier to drink than I would have imagined. It was definitely a strong beer although I didn’t think it felt like a 10% one with at least some of the alcohol hidden and there being a good balance between flavours.

The aroma is pretty straight forward with citrus pine hops and caramel malt. The appearance is deep cloudy amber with a small head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is smooth. Overall a well crafted beer but nothing new here until you mix with Yin then it really shines.

Amber pour with an off white head. Lots of hops and caramel in the nose and a similar taste. A really good beer to pair with the stout. Good stuff.

A good balance, Not too hoppy but hoppy enough. My first Evil Twin beer so I can’t compare to the other ones but I want to have more (6.8.2012).

Poured from a 11.2 oz bottle (Feb ’12) into a tulip the brew appears a hazed copper color as it rests in my glass. Smells are good good good ... a big hop aspect. The more I smell this, the more sweet it gets and candy-like with caramel or toasty toffee. Quite a bit of sugar and some floral hops in there, a little grassiness. This is a medium to fuller bodied brew with a moderate amount of carbonation.

Pours a cloudy amber color with a thin creamy head. Aroma of hops, caramel, and fruit. Caramel, grapefuit flavor with solid hop bite at the backend. A bit hot from the alcohol. Overall, a nice beer!

Opaque dark amber with a thin white ring. The nose shows layers of hops and caramel malts. Fuller bodied. The palate is quite disjointed with mango, apricot and caramel battling a bitter hoppy finish. I wish it would age to come together, but that seems unlikely.

Bottle from BrewDog Glasgow. Strong sweet hoppy aroma. Muddy amber brown colour. Sickly sweet hoppy flavour. Bitter sweet aftertaste. A bit unbalanced.

Bottle at home. Pours a hazy amber colour and a small light beige head. Fruity hops in the aroma along with grapefruit and and some resin. The flavour is dominated by hops and resin, and in addition grapefruit and some pepper and alcohol. A slick mouthfeel and medium bitterness. A well-balanced DIPA and is fantastically easy-drinking.

Bottle from Brewdog shop. Dark amber color, beige head. Very hoppy, bitter taste with caramel, citrus, pine and some fruits. Smooth bitter finish with a hint of alcohol in it. Very tasty imperial IPA.
