COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Pours a bit between an amber and a straw color. Little head. Smell is surprisingly malty. Sweet smells, almost a bit of red fruit. A bit like a barleywine lol. Taste is a lighter hoppiness, a bit of alcohol burn, candy sugar. Not that great of an ipa.

Curious impy IPA. It seems to have a blend of English-style and American-style qualities. Murky amber appearance. Fruity alcohol nips. Earthy, pungent, warming and citrusy -- grapefruit rind, lemon and bitter tangerine. Bold yet rounded bitterness.

Seved On tap.Oversized glass.Enjoyed on jun´11.Pours orangish amber in color.Chill haze.Off white small bubbled froth.Crown is creamy & lasting.Large lacings on sides.Mildy malty aroma, sweet malt hues, estery notes -ripe plums & strawberries- & resiny hops to the nose.Sweet bitter flavor with an slightly fruity touch masking hops. Creamy & buttery mouthfeel.Flavorful body, moderate carbonation.Piney & woody aftertaste.High ABV not warming at all remains well hidden. Two great partners in conjuction to create a big one!

Not a bad double IPA, but I was hoping for a little more from this beer. I was a little disappointed. I sampled one at the Railroad St on draft. The beer poured an amber color with a small off-white head. The head hardly left any lacing inside my glass. The nose was more malty than hoppy with a sweet tone to it. The flavors followed suit, with more sweet, bready and caramel malt than spicy and resiny hops. The beer was good, but just not what I was expecting, or what I think it could have been.

Overall solid IPA. High gravity no doubt but that is life and sometimes you must Pay the premium...

Pours golden orange with minimal head. Syrupy sweet mouthfeel. Figgy fruitiness with a slight herbal note. Very strong flavor with little bitterness. Nice.

Pours a deep brown/red color with a thin head. Aroma is of hops, spice (nutmeg, cloves), cheese and tomato sauce. Tastes very very strange. Not like any other IPA I’ve ever had. Tastes sour and woody, and finishes with a slight hop. Very odd.

33 cl bottle, pours brownish with a minor head, aroma of yeast, malt caramel, coffee and hops, taste follows the nose, surprisingly smooth mouthfeel, warming alcohol that is well integrated, very good overall.

On tap at Papago. Pours a warm copper color with a trim oatmeal head. Smells of hops and red licorice. Tastes of sweet malts, orange zest, and white raisins. Nice, but a bit on the candy side for the style.

Bottle. Hazy dark orange with a fizzy white head. Hop resin, caramel, and big citrus aroma. Huge resiny orange, lemon, grapefruit, and caramel taste with a thick sticky palate.
