Lasting white foamy head atop a deep orange coloured body. Nose of very bitter orange rind. Flavour of orange marmalade, chocolate nibs. Okay.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Looks great - golden pour. Aroma is lacking - mild hops, no fruit. Taste is hop bitterness with a battery acid resinous finish. Overall, not my sort of Imperial IPA. Bitter bite. Could not drink on its own; only redeeming feature is that it works great as a black and tan with Evil Twin Yin.

4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Based on the one other beer I’ve had from evil twin all their beers taste like their own thing completely and this is no exception to what I am now going to call a pattern. This thick bitter ipa is extremely bitter but still palletable. Very enjoyable.

4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
This is really good. It also has its own taste to it much like the yin, and it’s really good. It’s got a great transparent dark orangeish color, very clear. One of my favorite IPAs.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle from Premier Gourmet. Pours a nearly clear deep orange colour with modest-sized white-ish head. Aroma has juicy citrus and pine resin as well as fruity, caramelly maly. Flavour is fairly hoppy with juicy grapefruit and some pine, and has a solid maltiness. Slick, oily mouthfeel. Pretty subtle alcohol-wise for the ABV. Nice.

Clear pale body with almost no head. Aroma has dark fruits, light caramel. Taste has light caramel sweetness, high earthy bitterness with grassy after taste. Fruity. Body is full, light carbonation.
