COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

On tap @ Chmielarnia in Warsaw. Clear, amber colour. Small, weak head. Huge hop kick in nose. Taste is very essentional: pine, citrusses, dry, hoppy, without malty base. It covers mouth by veavy bitterness from the first touch.

Pours a nice red caramel color. Lots of hops in the finish and more pine notes than citrus. Almost a burnt brown sugar taste up front.

Strong taste and medium body. Balanced. Bread malt and a little bit citric taste. Bitterness is very present, specially at the aftertaste.

Tap@Fermentoren, Copenhagen (24/05/2014) - fuzzy amber pour with good white head and persistent lacing. Great hoppy mix of tropical and citrus fruits, grapefruit, mango and mandarin peel, sweet caramel malts, lovely bitter finish. Beautiful.

maneliquor (3006) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUN 11, 2014
Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours very hazy, almost dirty orange with a small beige head. Nose is loaded with tangy grapefruit and heavy pine. Comes across as a huge west coast IPA. Loads of sticky resin in the taste with grapefruit and pine needle focus. Aggressively bitter with an in your face sweet side. Not one for the light hearted. ABV is hidden astoundingly well. Very good stuff

Poured a milky light golden with a dense off white head. Aroma of sweet spicy citrus and yeast. Medium to full body, flavour of moderate spice, quite musty, light citrus.

Bottle from Tacoma boys. Pours a dark amber. Thick white head. Scent is citrus and hops. Taste is a strong hoppy one. Hop flavor kind of lingers a bit. Viscous for an ipa. Good beer.

rbrazell (1586) - Charleston, South Carolina, USA - JUN 6, 2014
Bottle from Mini Bar. Hazy amber pour with a bubbly white head. Malt dominated the nose with grapefruit and orange peel hops started to pop up as it warms. Flavor is big bitter piney, grapefruit, orange and tangerine hops with a good malty back. Ripping bitterness drys out the mouth. Pretty solid.

ALLOVATE (2349) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - JUN 5, 2014
At just on cool and into a shallow chalice. Burnished orange with misted clarity and little carbonation. Head is ill to form but remnants remain as a ring of white on the meniscus. Heady, resinous and bountiful whole hop nose oddly weighted by notes of pine-needles and nettles, bitter grapefruit and a whiff of sweaty sock/wet cat fur that isn’t too appealing. Dry, parching and draining on the palate whilst chilled. Lacks the juicy fruits needed to lift it. Low, powdery grain flavour reminiscent of a tight, pale pilsener. Not enough to give it back-bone. There is a fruit tanginess in the swallow though, prevalent once warmed, otherwise its Champagne-like dynamics are unshakable. Lively, effervescent, vinous, dry and short - could well be a bottle of bubbly. Not impressive at all! (33cL, The Liquor Barn, Jandakot)
