Bottle 33 cl. Pours amber in color with an off-white head. Some bitter hops, grapefruit and sweet malt in aroma. Tropical fruits in flavour, sweet, but then again some bitterness as citrus is coming through as well.

33 cl bottle @ home. Pours cloudy reddish amber with some sediment and an off-white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is caramel malt, grapefruit, hops (with hints of pine and citrus), and some peppery notes. Flavour is sweet malt, piney and citrusy hops – with a slightly bitter finish.

Rich amber color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of pine hops, caramel malt, & citrus; Flavor of sweet malt, caramel/toffee, spicy hops, fruit, and citrus (notably orange & grapefruit); Finish is slightly bitter; Nicely balanced; Overall, a bit sweet - but pretty decent.

From the tap poured a dark amber color with a small amount of head. Strong sweet malty hoppy flavor with a lingering finish.

Jag tyckte att det här var en lite märklig sak eller snarare öl. Kroppen är stabil och smaken är god men framförallt intressant. Smaken bär inslag av fruktighet och lakrits, beskan är dov och mörk, och ganska ihållande också när man tänker efter.

Pours cloudy orange with short off-white head. Aroma is very fruity, with honey, blossoms, ripe mango. Taste is sweet up front with a very balanced bitterness. Full bodied, creamy. Probably to match Yin...

Bottle (from Brewdog.com, 330ml):
Tropical fruit aroma up front and closely followed by some pine and grapefruit with touches of citrus, orange and from right out of left field, a little caramel as well. Hops, spice and alcohol and closed out with some subtle malts.
Cloudy, bright orange to red colour with some sediment in the glass and a thin, wavy foam head.
Tropical fruits, apricot and orange mixed with a background alcohol taste and a lot of spice to begin with. There is a good hop character and lots of pine and grapefruit flavours along with some caramel and peach.
Full bodied and smooth with a nice alcohol burn and a fruity, sweet bitterness and creamy, slightly bitter finish and a good balance.
This one was an excellent beer with a lot of depth and character and ended up being a lot easier to drink than I would have imagined. It was definitely a strong beer although I didn’t think it felt like a 10% one with at least some of the alcohol hidden and there being a good balance between flavours.

The aroma is pretty straight forward with citrus pine hops and caramel malt. The appearance is deep cloudy amber with a small head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is smooth. Overall a well crafted beer but nothing new here until you mix with Yin then it really shines.

Amber pour with an off white head. Lots of hops and caramel in the nose and a similar taste. A really good beer to pair with the stout. Good stuff.
