COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle at Bishops Arms in Örebro. Sweet smell that was wineously malty and had some pinecones, sap and similar hop aromas. Very sweet and malty taste, wineous, caramel, sap and pine. Very nice east coast DIPA that borders on an American barley wine.

Clear orange-amber with a very thick and creamy beige head. On the nose, lots of lychee, and a little peach, citrus. Still fruity on mouth but not as much as the smell. Medium to high sweetness, malty, fruity, caramel, medium bitterness and not much pine, which is a good point for me. Boozy finish. Imperial in terms of sugars, malts and alcohol but not in terms of hops and bitterness. Maybe a lack of freshness, you never know.

R4N5H (283) - SINGAPORE - JUL 5, 2015
Beerfest Asia, Singapore on 27/06/15. 33cl draft. Clear amber colour with an off-white head. Medium body and carbonation. Aroma of citrus, pine, fruit and caramel. A lovely flavour profile. A solid malt backbone, with bitter grapefruit up front. Caramel and heavily hopped. Bittersweet hoppy aftertaste - tongue numbing! Hides the ABV well, but this is a big Imperial IPA. Pretty good.

Copper pour with not much head. Heavy hop aroma as well as some malts kicking some ass. Flavor is as expected. Kinda boozy, but that makes it fun.

Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Hazy amber coloured with a very rich pine and pineapple flavour, rich bitter orange notes followed by a sharp, warming currant and spicy red fruity and bitter finish. Amazing!

Tap @ BierCab, Barcelona, 21/06/15, thanks bluus. Pours a reddish orange with a decent, yellowish-brown head. Aroma is citrus, fairly strong caramel. Taste is rather sweet, loads of caramel, some citrus. Turns dry on the finish.

On tap at Delirium Village in Brussels. Amber colour, a bit cloudy. Strong Ipa typical hoppy aroma. Particulary bitter in taste, maybe overly.

Excelente. No mesmo nível da Ying. Mais suave que outras imperiais. Talvez não agrade os lupomaníamos. Uma das melhores imperial IPA que já provei. Curioso para experimentar a Ying&Yang.

dambor (164) - Berlin, GERMANY - JUN 16, 2015
Pours dark orange, almost copper, with small head. Aroma: peaches, mango, yellow melon, some white grapes. Taste: pretty heavy malty body, with some sweetness, followed by a hoppy bomb of pine tree. ABV could be better hidden as it disturbs a bit in the palate. But in general a fantastic imperial ipa.

Klare orangegoldene Farbe, mittelgroße leicht gelbliche Schaumkrone. Geruch kräftig malzig, sehr hopfig, harzig Früchte, würzig. Geschmack sehr hopfig bitter, reife Früchte, harzig, sehr bitter, Tannennadeln, kräftig malziger Körper, gut!
