2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
The aroma and hop flavors were a miss. The only thing that made this tolerable was the overwhelming sweetness and alcohol. Disappointing

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle in Minneapolis picked up in KC. Pours a hazy dark orange appearance with an off white head. Somewhat dull, herbal, a bit citrusy, a touch spicy hoppy aroma. Chewy bready, woody, leafy woody, caramel, toasted malty flavor that isn’t bad but a little dated.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
First beer tried in my new Spiegelau IPA glass. Sweet caramel and toffee, mild Twizzlers and brown sugar. Aromatic floral-fruity hops and tea with candied oranges. Hazy orange amber, dark with amber creamy lacing head. Medium body with medium-high carbonation. Alcohol warming. Starts and stays sweet with brown sugar and candi sugar, alcohol, and neutral fruity character. Floral hoppy character with oranges and apricots. Sweet finish with alcoholic warming. Medium bitter after with sugary tang.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12oz bottle. Thicker and maltier than I would’ve expected. Sort of in the classic American IPA vane..probably not really worth the price-point considering it is made in the US too. I guess these beers were really designed to be mixed. Some nice tropical citrus hop currents. Well done beer.
