COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Imperial India Black Stout. This is a complete RTD Black and Tan. Not just any Black and Tan but the one where we flawlessly mixed a flippant good Imperial IPA with a profoundly evil Imperial Stout and sustained sweet beer balance. 33% Stout and 67% IPA.

12 fl. oz. bottle bought at Grebhan´s, Bremen. Pours out black. Tanned one finger head. Choco and dark berriefruity on the nose. Starts with more choco, fruity, sharp hopy, then fruity and milky chocolate. Relative smooth but alcoholic in the middle part. Longlasting coffee and complex mid bitterness.

Jarastlad (42) - Arlon, BELGIUM - APR 2, 2015
12 FL. OZ bottle from Miorge-Mihoublon, Arlon, Belgium. Aroma is a mixture of cereal and roasted barley. On the end there are notes of floral hops. It pours an impressivly dark, very dark brown. This beer clearly has a lot of texture. Raosted cereals and coffee/toffee followed by ripe fruits and ends with a coffee finish mixed with a nice noticable bitterness. Such a nice experience !

Bottle. Inky black with large cramy tan head, roasted malt aroma, low carbonation, starts with a mocha taste and ends with a bitter long finish. The hops aroma is all but lost beneath the mocha. Such an intesting brew from Evil Twin again!

Draught. Pours dark brown in color with a tan head. Roasted notes upfront, some chocolate and fruity citrus notes in aroma. Some burnt notes are apparent as well. Notes of oranges and dark chocolate in taste.. There’s a nice bitterness present here too. Quite dry. Some nutty and piney notes in aftertaste.

Tap@brewdog hki. Black. Roasted, ashy nose. Pines there, lemon. Soft smooth texture, surprisingly light for the abv. Roasty, light smokey. Bitter, foresty piny. But smooth all the way. An imperial bipa. Clean, nice one. Chocolate in the finish.

12oz bottle. Pours a glossy black with a nice mocha head of foam that crowns the goblet I have poured it into. As the head recedes, it leaves behind a sticky tan lacing. The aroma is lots of roast and some hop bitterness. That is a lot of bitterness between the two. The flavors come together nicely - and don’t clash with one another the way that some black-IPAs do. The finish is also profoundly bitter, which gives this beer some separation from other beers of the type. A nice demonstration of brewing and blending skill.
