3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
330ml bottle. Clear darkest brown colour with small to average, firm, frothy, minimally lacing, beige head. Peppery hop aroma with dark malty undertones. Taste is bitter, slightly biting hoppy, peppery, notes of green onions, dry, slightly roasty dark malty undertones; hints of the typical minimally sweet Black IPA malt and hop conglomerate resulting in carot-like notes.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Bottled (thanks Kimi!). Quite much black colour with a small beige head. Aroma is fruity, mild roasted, quite "strong alcohol without being evident alcohol", liquorice, and wood. Flavour is quite strong floral, fruity and salted liquorice like notes. Mild alcohol and some slight resiny and wooden notes. Big salted liquorice finish. Imperial Black IPA would be the fitting style. Jeppe, I am not sorry for bashing the biscuits, but for hating IPA/DIPA, and especially the paradox of a Black IPA (Cascadian Dark Ale is better, and for this, imperial in front), this beer ... I fucking love this!

Leans towards Yin in appearance. Aroma is deep wood AND tropical fruit. Weird... Taste... Well, it's like pouring down a DIPA on one side of your mouth, an imperial stout the other side. This could be a Stimorol Fusion commercial. Odd, but fun. Goes to show just how different the styles are, yet surprisingly they blend well. I enjoyed it a lot.

Nice beer. Woa, had no idea it was 11%, it can get an extra point for that, like the roundness of the malts, bit of hay, some citrus, tootsie roll plastic, medium strong bitterness, piney, get less stout character and more double IPA for sure. Dangerous Jeppe.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours brown with thick tan head. Aroma of roasts malt, piney hops, and cocoa. Taste of citrus hops, chocolate, and notes of coffee. One of the better Black IPA’s. Shocked that this is 11% because it drinks way too easy. Could be trouble. Pretty good.
