COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Imperial India Black Stout. This is a complete RTD Black and Tan. Not just any Black and Tan but the one where we flawlessly mixed a flippant good Imperial IPA with a profoundly evil Imperial Stout and sustained sweet beer balance. 33% Stout and 67% IPA.

After tasting Yang, which was one of the best beers Iíve had, I had big expectations for this one. And it didnít disappoint. Pours a black oily liquid with a medium offwhite head that quickly disappears. Sweet aroma of chokolate malts and some hoppy notes aswell, kind of reminds me of a barleywine. Tastewise it also has the attributes of a barleywine. Loving it.

Dark brown, almost black color. Some coffee and hops in the aroma. Full body, taste - coffee, chocolate with bitter, hoppy finish.

Getting a lot more stout than IPA in the taste. To be honest I get a lot more quadí than stout in the aromas (boiled sweets). Canít find a label that fits for this beer but itís interesting. Palate is very velvety and laaaaaasting bitterness !

Bottle at WilliamK. Black color, brown head. Bitter taste with coffee, hops, roasted malts, nuts, licorice and dark fruits. Bitter finish with coffee, licorice, hops, nuts and a bit chocolate. Excellent brew.

Itís perfectly clear, dark copper color, with beautiful head. Very nice aroma of dark malts, but yet itís so fresh and lite. Itís the same history in the taste. IPA start, CDA finish and huge stout in aftertaste. Itís a bomb of flavours and aromas. Huge and awesome beer.

Beczka 0,2 l, Zaklęte Rewiry, Wrocław. Aromat: palony, czekoladowy z amerykańskim chmielem (jakieś cytrusy i sosna). Piana beżowa, dość obfita i trwała. Ładnie zdobi szkło. Smak: podobnie jak w aromacie. Słodkie, z wyraźną goryczką. Tekstura gęsta, wysycenie niskie.

Rich deep dark brown coloured body with a thinnish tan head that fades very fast. Aroma of a surprisingly nice mix of super hoppy resinous notes and a very roasted, coffee scent with malt front and centre. Full-bodied; Strong roasty flavours with vanilla, oak and chocolate the most noticeable, but the bitter hop flavours show through as well with a good citrus and piney bite near the end. Aftertaste shows a deep robust chocolate and coffee flavour of malts with a good hop flavour as well - a surprisingly nice balance, even though itís strong on both fronts. Overall, a nice beer, especially for the price - good to try, but not worth searching out for. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased a few hours ago from Southern Season in Charleston, South Carolina on 19-April-2015 for US$3,19 sampled in my hotel room in Charleston, South Carolina a few hours later on 19-April-2015.

Bottle: Poured a dark black with a light mocha color head and gentle lace along the edges of the glass. It has a dark roasted coffee aroma with a strong coffee, coca and a hoppy taste. There is a thick creamy mouth feel along with a good amount of bitterness at the end.

12 oz. bottle from Wilburís. Appearance: finger chocolate head, good lacing, brown, clear to opaque. Aroma: chocolate, light toast, molasses, floral. Palate: full body, average carbonation, sticky texture, bitter finish. Taste: sweet chocolate and caramel, with floral and pine hops boiling up and destroying the palate on the back end, super bitter finish. Overall, amazing! super good combination, very good beer.
